It occurred early this morning around 3am. Was told the couple were coming back from a club when the vehicle hit the pavement and lost control. Unfortunately the lady at the passenger side died instantly, the driver was rushed to the hospital. Cause of the accident from all indication points to over speeding.

As we celebrate this Val season, we should be mindful how we drive.

Rip to the dead and quick recovery to the driver. Going more than 60kph on that road is bad driving.

Stop friends from drinking and driving especially during festive periods.

That festac road from pix would probably be that 2nd rainbow route to new bridge, that road is filled with interlocking speeding sef is sorta weird with the noise from the tyres.

The nature this car is after the accident shows the driver is surely drunk and driving, though university days I club with friends and return late in the midnight but am always the one driving because I don't take alcohol.

One lesson the FRSC needs to teach drivers is the issues of drink and drive, its surely because of you and not anyone else, to be candid coming back from club around 3am and driving would require some speeds not bbecause you want to speed but because of the armed robbers! But must u drive out a faulty car and be drunk as well, non challant attitude is the main cause of accidents this days. Yes driving is simple but no one is above mistake so it needs been focused and know when u need to speed.

RIP to the dead, some foolish fool after reading this my post would still drink and drive tonight, I think its high time they start perform pychiatric test to drivers before handing drivers license out because they are DEAF
