For some people internet dating works but for a lot of people internet dating does not work. The internet allows people to make up who they are. Everytime I watch court TV, there is always a couple on there that met from the internet. The women on line usually have good jobs an can afford to take care of their self, they usually have good credit also. The men online are usually not as responsilbe so they come to the internet to prey on women who will shower them with gifts. If the man does have a good income he usually turns out to have other issues.

Internet dating works for many people but not for Nigerians, personally think a large proportion of Naija guys + their family will never respect a girl met on the Internet. Personal opinion

I dont understand why u guys think that people met on the internet are all fake. I guess u are just speaking for yourselves. here in Naija, people meet on the net and get married and also live happily ever after, at least I know a few couple. It all depends on who u are meeting. First u must understand that meeting the person is just the first thing, ur accessment of the person depends on you. Why would u start dating someone seriously without checking out what u are going into? Internet guys are not entirely poor. I access internet from my office and I have a good job so I couldn't be poor neither am I a low life.
