Jafour is a car dealer based in Canada (no, don't know him but the info is evident on his posts) and he probably gets a lot of his vehicles from car auctions so I can see him being able to sell at that price and still make a profit.

It is possible, however, could still be a lemon purchase.

You are correct to say the 2004 odyssey is very difficult to get because the offer price is low. You need to understand that  dealers sell for various reasons not only for profit. My reason for accepting Obeledu's offer is to augment my working capital.
Your "honest" advice is incomplete and partial. You advised the buyer to be careful yet you failed to tell him the amount he can get a good 2004 Honda Odyssey. You are also partial by not advising me to make a counter offer more than Obeledu's budget if actually the car I am selling is indeed a good one.

Your advice is rather misplaced. You should concentrate your efforts in advising dealers on how to make more money and exceed customers budget.

Sure, you are right I get cars from auctions and I must confess in this 2004 Honda Odyssey transaction I am going to make a very minimal profit.

Thanks for your reply,i really appreciate it very strongly,if you read my reply to the message you will notice some things,1.that i ask him to be careful for what he buys doesn't mean he can't get a good bargain for any price,but it is not about the bargain,it is about getting a good car from a good dealer,alot of so called car sellers are on nairaland,that sell junk cars to people just for the sake of making "profit",2.that i didnt tell him a price is due to his budget he had already made known and if he was really interested he would have replied to ask at what price can he get one! and also i didnt say he can't buy from you or that you are giving him a bad deal,so i think your reply is spoken wrongly.you said i was partial by not advising you,that remark i don't understand,if you can get an odyssey at price thats very good,like i said it is not all about making profits,that i didnot mention a price is due to the fact that you have already accepted his price,and it would be wrong!it is about building, thanks jafour

Carshopper i have seen your advice, my budget is not static. When i see the car i can review the price. My brother deals in Honda spare parts and he stays there at Lagos. I beleive he will be able to make good bargain.
