Hi Everyone, Today am here to share a secret with everyone , I will be using http://olekubuzz.com as case study. Mid November I met with a blogger who wanted to port his blog from blogger to wordpress . Then his blog was about 4 million in ranking according to Alexa. For prove visit http://waybackmachine.com and check The case study site history. After porting the site from blogger to wordpress , I noticed how bots were hitting the site. FYI WordPress sites gets 40% of their traffic from bots. Then it happened under one month the site alexa ranking dropped to 2mil then I started building the site backlinks up to 30k . The ranking was decreasing steadily. I made some research and discovered that adding the Alexa widget helps in optimizing a site rank.
