hatux: Eyes rest when you sleep. Nose rests too because you cant smell odours while sleeping The brain too enters a sub concious mode while sleeping that's when we dream. The answer is heart. |

It's the heart. When you sleep, your eyes do rest, you can hold your breath while taking your shower or under water, your brain goes on hiatus whilst you sleep or if you're into yoga, during a particular session. However, your heart shouldn't stop working. Once it stops beating in the case of a cardiac arrest, it may lead to death. |

The eyes also rests when we are asleep 3.
