See this thread to get yourself prepared for these kinds of opportunities https://www.nairaland.com/2087594/international-postgraduate-scholarships#30873166 VLIR Scholarships in Belgium for international students from developing countries allow students to study for a masters' course, an ICP (International Course) or ITP (International Training Programme), organised by a Flemish university or non-university HE institution. Candidates should be eligible for the masters, ICP or ITP they wish to attend. Each year, up to 180 scholarships are available to first-year ICP students and up to 70 scholarships to ITP participants. Only residents of developing countries on the VLIR’s List of Developing Countries are eligible for a scholarship. Which costs are covered by the VLIR scholarships in Belgium? VLIR-UOS only provides full scholarships for the total duration of the training or Master. It is not possible to apply for a partial scholarship. Scholarship amounts are; For a training programme Allowance: € 32/day Several one-time payments Accommodation, insurance, international travel and tuition fee For a Master programme Allowance: € 860/month Accommodation allowance: € 375/month Family allowance: € 62 per dependent person/month Several one-time payments Insurance, international travel and tuition fee Only the following English taught courses at Belgian Flemish universities or university colleges are eligible for scholarships: Training Programmes Lib@Web: Management of Electronic Information and Digital Libraries.
