You don't even know you imply that with Jonathan's role with the militants in the creek toward Amnesty Programme, we all can also conclude that Jonathan was a Sponsor of the kidnapping, rapes, robbery, vandalism, killings, rituals and all the cult activities of the Militants.

Try another SPIN you hear

While Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan put his political career as well as personal security on the line as then VP to work with Yar'Adua in negotiating peace with the Niger Delta militants so our country can have more crude oil revenue to share with the 36 states and 774 LGAs, our former Head of State would not even negotiate "special treatment" amnesty for his Boko Haram terrorists.

What a vile wretched old man this pensioner is shocked shocked

What career? He should also be in jail for the money he and Alams stole. Also the Commander in Chief was interested in stopping Militancy. But in the case of Boko Haram and the death of over 20,000 Nigerians, our Presido was playing politics. Now that it has become expedient, he is busy, our Soldiers are no longer leaving weapons for SheCow.

As Abacha once said, any crisis that lasts more than a day or two has the support of the Government. FYI, Boko Haram has lasted over 5yrs under Jonathan.

You may be referring to YOUR lalaland presido Buhari as our president Jonathan encouraged Boko Haram's Sympathiser-in-Chief to negotiate peace with them =>

Boko Haram wants talks …picks Buhari as mediator, Saudi Arabia venue …demands ex-gov’s arrest, compensation

But, the Presidency on Thursday said the proposed ceasefire by Boko Haram was a welcome development, if it was intended to achieve the objectives of peace and security.

Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, said the position of President Goodluck Jonathan had been that he was ready for dialogue if members of the sect could come forward.

He said, “Yes, I have seen the story in which the Boko Haram is reportedly declaring a ceasefire and the opening of dialogue. I think it is important to restate the position of government in this matter.

“The Federal Government is committed to peace and security for the benefit of all Nigerians.

“ If what the proposed ceasefire is intended to achieve are the objectives of peace and security, then it is a welcome development.

“Don’t forget that President Jonathan made it clear that if the people behind Boko Haram are ready to come forward, and table their grievances, then government will be willing to listen to those grievances.

“There have been attempts before now, by concerned persons to reach out to the Boko Haram through back channels, in response to government’s call that all efforts should be made to resolve the problem. I suspect that this latest development may be related to that.”

Buhari saw through you. PDP were plotting a scheme to bring shame to Buhari. The man is toooo much for PDP to handle.

BTW, tell Jonathan to return the $1,000,000,000 ($1b) he took as loan to dash his boko haram touts in that Fake Ceasefire Agreement that did not last 12hrs.

Nigerians will vote out Jonathan before he sell everything that is not nailed to the ground to his proxies. We can no long endure the Stealing-Is-Not-Corruption Administration of Jonathan.

And then VP Jonathan did not see the amnesty work with Niger Delta militants as a plot to bring shame on him

You are just so LAME with your untenable excuses in defence of such a vile, wretched person who pretends to be a saint when in fact he is the vilest of all demons.

That is the case with Lagos state where Thief'nuibu cabal has ruined it for 16 years despite increasing IGR over 34 times from N7.2 billion in 1999 to N246 billion in 2013 not counting the undeclared amount that Ambode gave directly to the JagaBandit before he was sacked back then by Fashola.

And how did the increase in IGR happen, was it by magic? You are not even smart enough to know when you are inadvertently complimenting the people you aim to chastise. In general APC governed states have outperformed PDP states considering the resources available. PDP had failed Nigerians. You can keep shouting on nairaland about paper achievements but it seems people are now wiser. Good luck trying to sell bad product.

APC states have outperformed PDP states.
Under GEJ Nigeria has lost close to $60Billion through bunkering about 400k barrels per day.
Nigerias top 3 priorities (Security, Power, Economic Stability) have all collapsed or stayed moribund under GEJ.

Nigeria has never being this polarised along sectarian lines until GEJ's daft politics.
Corruption and impunity are the order of the day since 2010.

GEJ again? Hell No.
GMB is the way.
