am new here, pls the date of birth in my jamb reg is 27/1/1991 but my date of bairth in school is 25/05/1993, the mistake
was done during my jamb registration, pls will it affect me


It may affect you.... NYSC will have to use jamb data to validate registration...

NO it wont. U may likely see ur Jamb age online . U can correct it to the age u use in WAEC if u want . U can still leave it as it wont stop u from registration or affect u in anyway judging from last batch eperience .

It may affect bro. NYSC now aware that prospective corps members do backdate for one reason or the other. That's why they will be making use of jamb data now.

evening fellow pcm... pls i want to confirm if ds little mistake wont become a problem later ma name was spelt by my sch has ADEWUMI...nd d one on jamb nd ma other certificate is spelt ADEWUNMI...

It may not pose a problem now.... You should have corrected this mistake long before this time.

Since Adewumi is on your certificate instead of Adewunmi that on jamb and your other certificates, you may have prob during NYSC registration...

Dont where you graduated from sha, But I think you will need to contact your school asap to correct the mistake before the submission of Senate approved results closes...

And if you have got your school, you will need to write to academic secretary in your school about the discrepancy and support your claims with copy of other documents with your correctly spelt name. it will be corrected for you.

My dear calm down. Read again , u will see wia i said based on last batch he has no p. There is also an option to use Waec date of birth with just 300 hundred Naira. Btw, i know he has no p. If for instance the date of birth in Jamb is below 1985 den he has entered one chance.

pls who is in charge of the Date of birth, is it the school that send the date of birth,, abi jamb....... i need urgent reply....... ejo ejo,

School will send but Nysc will put it in a dustbin. They will use Jamb's own. The Jamb no goes with the date of birth so if Mr A get Mrs B's Jamb no mistankely on net. Mr A will hv Mrs B's Date of birth ( still based on last batch experience)

Nigerians and Falsification. Even if there is no need for it. Corruption in a hereditary trait in Nigeria.

U ar welcm. I dnt tink u nid swearin any afidavit... Just try and enter your sch and complain and everifin wil com to normalcy. Be happy, you are good to go!
