Hey Siena, I am looking at an A8 2.8 (in the UK) perhaps in the next few months. What is the tyre wear like on these? I would like to bring with me an A8 3.3TDi from here but these cars are really cheap in the UK now and I can save a few grand on a UK spec car.

Tyre wear on any of the quattro's is generally better than on the FWD cars, as tyre slip under regular driving is minimal.

The A8 in 2,8 guise - 174 hp (12V) 193 hp (30V) is a slug.
In a car that size and weight, the little V6 struggles, and is thirstier on a long run than the 3,7L V8.
