A robber who was one of the 20 armed robbers that robbed a First Bank branch in Vandeikya LGA, Benue State over the weekend was burnt to death by villagers.

According to a village source,the armed robbers exchanged bullets with the police.Many of the robbers were wounded during the process.The car carrying the robbers somersaulted and fell into a bush while they were trying to escape.

Speaking further,the village source revealed that many of them ran away despite sustaining bullet injuries while one of them couldn't because he was severely injured.When interrogated by the villagers,he confessed to being a member of the robbers.Villagers who were not happy with the robbers set him.

Peace is not the absence of war, it is the presence of justice. There is no justice in Nigeria. Poor men steal and get burned alive, rich men steal millions of dollars and go free. In fact the rich who steal are celebrated, even in churches. What a country.
