The question is "Is fraud a crime in Nigeria or not?". If it is, then there are sincere ways to consider the matter than from the viewpoint of tithe. Collecting tithe is not a crime in Nigeria, but fraud is. Whether it is biblically correct for a christian to pay tithe or not is another matter altogether.

The man should pay his tithe of #7.7m. Sow multiple seed. Case closed.

After all remember Moses and his sister Miriam, when she reproved him for marrying interracially. God punished her for that.

I don't know of any special grace, the grace of God is what gives the opportunity of eternal life and its for everybody that works for it. In the bible some people are anointed for special purposes. Moses was anointed to be a deliveral, so he did special things because of what he had to do. It is not the person but the purpose. The moment he loses purpose he becomes an unfavorable vessel.
Miriam and Aaron wrongfully murmured againts Moses, they were undermining his authority by using the excuse of his foreign wife to elevate themselves. When Moses married there was no law against marrying a foreigner, he was a fugitive and he married where he resided. They were wrong and were punished.

When Moses also did the same thing by cursing the assembly of God and not giving due glory to God. He was sentenced to death. No special anointing covered him, he was wrong and he was severely punished, God even accepted a plea bargain for miriam but he didn't for Moses. He had to die.

So if you are wrong, you are wrong and should be corrected no matter who you are. Am sure moses would have preferred that a little boy had scolded/corrected him before he made the blunder that cost him his life.

Any man of God who refuse scolding, correction and is wearing a toga of anointing as shield is just digging his grave.

This land is suppose to be use for the building of industrial estate for companies to engage our unemployed youth. But our so called churches have taken over our industrial lands and industrial farms.

There is should be strict policy on churches to restrict them from sighting churches in residential areas. The noise level on people living quietly in the house is just too much because of churches sighting their church near homes. Our churches should be regulated and given designated places to sight churches and not just all areas.


The Nigerian tax laws should cover our churches to ensure that our Nigerian churches pay tax as they have become too commercialised.

Nigerians generally are tax evaders. If churches start paying tax, then all those who feel they have evaded the government tax will comply without knowing it. The money is just too much..

I simply want to comment on this because it is foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful, and it is stupidity to ignore what is gainful.

The fact that most of you does not believe in Oyedepo does not make him a fake, I read one of his book "In Pursuit of Vision" and till date I have not recovered from the impartation I got therein.

I also learnt from him that God is worthy of our best in terms of giving. Today I don't depend on salary because I don't even have, but I am blessed daily by following his teaching.

Being a human he is subject to mistakes irrespective of the great grace upon his life.
