A shop sells chocolate at N1.00 each but you can exchange 3 chocolate wrappers in return for one chocolate. If you have N15.00 how many chocolates can you get in total. Take your time to answer. |

#1 = 1 choco #15= 15 choco But 3 wraps = 1 choco 15 wraps = 5 choco And 5 wraps = 1 2/3 choco Therefore Total = 15 + 5 + 1 2/3 ........ = 21 whole 2/3 sweets |

You can buy 15 chocolates with you N15.00. When you eat (abi na lick? Lolz) all, you get 15 wrappers. With the15 chocolate wrappers, you will get 5 chocolates in exchange (3 wrappers for 1 chocolate). You now have 20 chocolates so far. If you eat/lick the 5 new chocolates, 3 of the wrappers will get you 1 chocolate, with 2 wrappers left. You now have 21 chocolates so far. If you eat/lick the 1 chocolate, you will now be left with 3 wrappers i.e 1 new wrapper plus the 2 above. You then use the 3 wrappers to get 1 chocolate, making a total of 22 chocolates. You can give the sales girl the last chocolate. Lolz |
