peopleFor pro-GEJites the 2015 campaign is about Buhari,Buhari and Buhari. For pro- GMBites the 2015 campaign is about Nigeria, Nigeria & Nigeria.Questions for Jonathan and PDP1. Why was (is) "Boko Haram" busy destroyingstates and areas that theopposition party willwin convincingly in the presidential election?2. If we are to believe that the opposition werethe brains and architects of "Boko Haram",then why is it that they have never everattacked and destroyed any prominent PDPfigure or their properties?3. If the opposition have the capability ofarming "terrorists" with armour tanks, RPGs,AA Guns, military uniforms, military trucks, helicopters and the abilityto commandsoldiers to vanish from military checkpoints, wouldn't they have targeted to destroy PDPstrongholds and their assets?4. Why would the opposition seek to destroytheir own strongholds anyway? To achievewhat?5. Why was (is) "Boko Haram" targeting todestroy basically only prominent northernpoliticians and their traditional rulers and theircommunities?6. In the light of questions 1 to 5 above, whyhas there been a deliberate campaign of liesand propaganda by the PDP and their religiouswing that collect bribes inbillions of naira that"Boko Haram" is the baby of the opposition?7. Of all the cars used by"suicide" bombersretrieved from the scene of their attacks, towhom were the cars traced after forensicinvestigations? Why is it that nothing is everheard after such evidences have been collatedat the scenes since 2011?8. At the last count, over 500 hundred "BokoHaram" suspects have been in detention since2009, but why is it that government hasn'tbeen able to come clean on those sponsoringthe "terrorists", and why is it that, with such ahuge treasure trove, government has not beenable to know and curtail the operationalmethods of the"terrorists"?9. Why did the "terrorists"become strongerafter a scandalous 33 billion dollars (over 4trillion naira) was expended on the so calledwar against them?10. Isn't it curious and suspicious that aragtag group called"Boko Haram" whose bulkof fighters possibly had only one weektrainings could overcome and overrun ourmilitary men who spend 5 years in the NDA,some months in Jaji, and some months alsoat the National War College in Abuja apartfrom several overseas trainings?11. Why was it that, at a point from 2013, theNigerian military was not taking the war to"Boko Haram" camps in the deserts of thenortheast instead of waiting for "Boko Haram"to come on the offensive?12. Since when has repulsion become the bestform of defence instead of attack?13. Why did "Boko Haram" have the mostfreedom to operate and destroy so manytowns and villages duringall the period ofState of Emergency that was supposed to havemade them immobile?14. Was the State of Emergency some fraudpulled off to empower the"terrorists" andmake the targeted communities sitting ducksfor easy elimination?15. Who was providing"Boko Haram" with fueland other logistics in their camps consideringhow they easily move withlong convoys oftrucks to operate withoutchallenge? These are not the only questions.... There aremany more. But they've not been able toanswer any of these, rather they always wantto heap their scheme on others. These questions and manymore could be thereason they are mortally scared of losingpolitical power. But it just can't continue likethis anymore.Change is a basic constant in life.

GEJ is a blood sucker that needs no commendation for whatever achievement the military has recorded in this two weeks. Jonathan had played politics with the life of over 15000 Nigerians. Jonathan! God will judge you.

...Are you better off now than you were 6 years ago before President Jonathan was sworn in as president after the death of President Umaru Yaradua? Are Nigerians living a higher quality of life now than before because they have access to better, good paying jobs, better healthcare, better education and infrastructure, power or electricity that has removed the need to invest in diesel generators? What is your perception of corruption in the country?

Follow links in my signature, NL is blocking any information that does not or may not favour the current government...?

This is not even something we should be talking about thanking in the first place. A C-in-C's job is to protect the citizens of the country. They made this Boko Haram thing grow from a soldier ant to a monster. He has failed already, all those deaths, all the kidnappings, all the displaced people. Women/girls have been raped. Many families will never be the same ever again. People are going to live with trauma especially the abused women for the rest of their lives, imagine the disabled. Now we're supposed to thank him?? Really??

I'm just glad that the NA with their allies are finally defeating these evil monsters but I don't think its a victory for anyone coming this late. I read somewhere that Baga was recaptured after 3 hours, this really makes me sad because it means our army have always been more than capable of handling this rag tag army. Someone needs to be held responsible for the countless lives that have been unnecessarily lost both military and civilian.

So instead of talking about thanking or cursing, we need a serious panel to be set up to investigate the failures and where we went wrong and hold those responsible. We need to do this so that this never happens again

OP please go and educate yourself on the following:

1. military equipment procurement and when we took delivery

2. , the efforts of the opposition at inventing poor human right records on the Nigerian army and the effect that had on our ability to procure weapons, America and it's allied companies refused to sell arms to Nigeria

3. Boko haram is a cross boarder force and can only be defeated through effective military regional collaboration

4. also educate yourself on the involvement of the AU, UN and the vote by parliaments of Neighbouring countries to allow their country full involvement in the fight against Boko Haram which only materialised recently.

When you do the above, pay attention in the timing of the various events and I believe you will rid yourself of ignorance and understand why we are now making progress now instead of 6 months ago or 12 months ago or 24 months ago.

No leader will sit back and watch his country men killed by terrorists. It is not in the interest of any leader to do that no matter their party or tribe.

So to ignorantly suggest that the President sat back and did nothing until after 13000 deaths is quite frankly ignorant!

Shut the bleep up!
You lot were finding all sort of excuses for the government failing to protect lives and resulted in loss of 10000s lives in time of peace!
First it was BH is an insurgent and Nigerian Army are not trained to fight insurgents.
When the insurgent seized a sizeable part of the land, you lot turn around and said the army didn't have equipment. Tell me was the Nigerian Army recording victories in their several missions across Africa with bow and arrows? Did you not hear of the mishap in Ikeja in 2001 during OBJ? That bomb mishap happened in Ikeja and the shock wave was felt in Isolo (17km away) - it drove people to death as they ran into the canal.

GEJ SHOULD BE CURSED!
He left BH for more than half a decade to go on killing spree with the intention of using it during the time of election. By hiding on the false claim that Nigerian Army does not have weapon, they had it at the back of their mind to eradicate BH when election is near to score cheap political goal. Never minding thousands of lives that have been lost and shattered. I know some people will ask me for proof:

“We got permission to fly through Sudan and other countries but have been blocked by Saudi Arabia, which has impeded the urgency of the operation.”
He added that owing to Saudi Arabia’s refusal, the only alternative is for Nigeria to ship the armament by sea, but using this as an option would take much longer.

“If we resort to shipping the arms via the high seas, they would reach us well after the elections which may be too late for the desired impact, especially now that we have the insurgents on the run,” he explained.

Like Wole Soyinka says the issues that led to Boko haram did not start today

If Nigerians as a whole rejected the expansion of jurisdiction of sharia law we won't be here. If Nigerians unanimously protested the massacre of Christians in the North in the name of sharia we won't be here!

So this moment is a moment for honest soul searching. It was in this country that the military was accused for all human right offences when they were winning this war. This accusation made it difficult to procure weapons to fight this?

It's disgraceful that those at the vanguard of that campaign are the same people criticising the government for the longevity of this war!

A lot of you have no grace nor compassion and a disgrace to mankind. While you sit here trying to run down the Government, camerounians are on the street matching against Boko haram.

Stop criticising and support the army for God's sake!

Bros, truth is bitter. Ask your self did the Cameroonian government left her citizens at the mercy of the terrorist? Did they allow BH to kill their citizen without prompt actions to curb the menace? No one is accusing the army here. As far as some of us are concerned, the army are discipline and brave men and women unfortunate to have this devil incarnate as the CnC. What we are saying is why on earth did our government incapacitated the army and let BH go on killing spree for more than half a decade. Only for the government to eradicate the terrorists a few weeks to elections after 10000s of lives have been lost needlessly and people still expect the us to clap for the same government.
People come online and insult our intelligence with the nauseating excuse that the army is not equipped and not well trained. What has changed (save for a few more imported hardwares) within the last two weeks that we couldn't have done this over 5 years ago?
The guns that were rolled out against harmless civilians in the wake of the postponement of the election could have put an end to BH since 0000BC
