Such dogs are not meant for Nigeria jare. I pity the poor thing undecided
What are u saying? There are prettier dogs in Nigeria than this one, and they're doing just fine. And if u mean caring for them, I have models here. Go take a look at Olu and his Rocky or Deeptesting and his little GSD slant back. These guys treat dogs like family members.
The breeder defines a dog's condition, not the country. Lol! Smh

When you say Basenji,I hope u re not mistaking our local dog for a Besenji?
Basenji is africans barkless dog, they are quite smaller than our local dogs, and they come on heat once in a year while other dogs do 2ce even our local mongrel

I know basenjis are local, African dogs, but I never knew they're barkless. So what do u call the regular bingos, and how are they different from basenjis?

I don't think our local mongrels has got a recognised name in the world wide web yet,
If only we had appreciated them well enough to list their xters, who knows dey can be worthy of export,I believe they can be well appreciated overseas if they are xterised.
But u know we are fond of commonising our products and appreciating the foreign ones.
Like the case of the thread that needs a foreighn dog as gift,if he can start by adopting our local dogs in volume, who knows he can do better than some foreign dog breeders in D long run if he can study them and make them recognised worldwide.
I know it sound funny like why am I not doin same!but Rome was not built in a day.
Somebody has to start from somewhere rather than lookin @ finshed products 2 start

Yes, ur on point. But I think the major reason why we don't appreciate our dogs is because we don't have them in variety. I mean, u can easily tell a Nigerian dog coz they all look the same. They don't grow too big or too strong and they're more difficult to train. Worse is that foreigners don't value them as much as we value theirs
