10 simple but highly effective ways for Heart attack prevention: what docs don't learn.
These are simple, low-cost tips to help prevent/reduce the chances of having an heart attack.
1)The most powerful medicine: food
-have at least five cups of vegetables a day.
-drink three cups of (green, black) tea a day. It reduces cholesterol level, regulates blood sugar, and soothes inflammation.
-if you must eat meat, eat it naked. Avoid processed meat like hot dogs, sausages and bacon. Opt for grass-fed animals, which have more heart-healthy omega3 fatty acids than grass-fed animals.
-choose smash fish (sardines, mackerel, anchovies, salmon and herring). They are best source of omega3 and are less likely to be contaminated with toxins as toxins become concentrated in older and larger fish.
2) fast 11 hours every night. The body needs this break to repair metabolic functions.
3) perform active acts of kindness. Instead of sitting sedentary on the bus, you can give your sit to a fellow passenger.
4) take vitamin "y" every week. Yoga has direct and powerful impact on your heart.
5) love a pet. Pets seem to have a positive impact on stress, cholesterol levels and blood pressure.
6) list something you are grateful for every day and read the journal once a week.
7) get busy. People who have set at least twice a week reduce their risk of heart attack by half compared with those who have sex only about once a month. Sexual activity is about as taxing as light exercise.
cool open your windows and let in the air. Use fan to circulate the air to reduce air pollution levels.
9) clean with kitchen staples. Many cleaning products contain chemicals that have been linked to stroke and high blood pressure. When possible, clean your kitchen with items you would cook with, such as white vinegar, lemon and bicarbonate soda.
10) toss your plastic containers. Chemicals in plastic leach into the food in these containers. Use glass, ceramic or stainless steel storage containers instead.
