My only problem with that car is that based on the registration number, it was registered in December 2000, so please stop advertising it as a 2003 car.

Thanks for raising your concerns but it's a good idea not to sound too omniscient. I do not know what your crystal ball tells you about the plate number but here's what I KNOW,

1) This car was bought in 2003 as the seller's official car by his company
2) The car was then SOLD to the seller by the company after the usual 4 years amortization in 2007
3) The seller bought the car for his wife's use in early 2008
4) In November 2008, the wife got an official car and now they decided to sell this one.

If you think you know so much about plate numbers, I won't argue with you. What I know about is the history of the car as the seller was my boss for 2 years until I recently changed jobs.

I feel very silly going into all this history just because I want to sell a used car but I guess you have a right to raise your concerns. Please note that I'm selling a car and not plate numbers.

For those of you who have called (especially the guys from Port-Harcourt), thanks for your enquiries but the price is as stated.

Personally, I think it's a clean, fairly-priced car.

But just to put potential buyer's minds at rest -

The steering wheel crash pad is showing what looks like a tear.
Now, it may not be due to a deployed airbag - I've seen deployed airbags, and they usually destroy the complete pad, that tear on the wheel pad's too small for an airbag to have deployed from.

Maybe it's just a tear from either a knife, or some other careless use, either way, just give your potential buyers some reassurance.

I have been registering my cars with Lagos Island numbers since 2000 and I know which range falls for which years cos I have used about 5 cars btw then and now.
