According to the 2015 Goal Rich List, an annual chart of the game's wealthiest active players, Cristiano Ronaldo is the richest footballer in the world. He is €10 million above the second-placed Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo was also at the top in 2014 but was ahead of Messi with €2 million.



Ronaldo's long-term associate with Nike has remained a big cash-spinner for him together with his commercial deals with companies like Toyota, Herbalife and Samsung.
