Hello nairalanders, I created this thread for us to talk about the pathetic state of Ilorin/Bode-saadu highway. For those who know the road, that is the MAJOR link between the South and North. As I write, there has been a terrible gridlock on that road since Wednesday last week (especially between Bode-Saadu and Jebba). Am talking of a traffic that is horrifying even in the midnight! Please, let us contribute positively to this, who knows, somebody 'up there' may hear and come to the aid of those who ply that dangerous road daily for their livelihood and the health of those who are at the mercy of the suffocating dust on that road. Please mods, kindly move this to the fp...it's a call for help!!!

Yet JonaTAN and his band of idiotic followers will say the government has completed 25,000kms of road within rhe country.

Guess the 25,000km road includes the one in Cameroon Reuben Abati put on his profile as Enugu - onitsha expressway.

This road in question is NOT under construction. I ply it every week and there is nothing like that...it's a lie! A construction company brought some machines in January, 'graded' it and left with all their equipment. If that is what you refer as 'under construction,' then we have a long way to go in Nigeria.
Call anyone living around there to verify.

From Bode saadu to jebba suppose to be 30 mins drive but now it will take u like 2 hrs and too bad if a truck fell down.the road needs sos asap.

Hmmmmm.......all is well. The government should leased with the EFCC to act as monitoring tea to any contract awarded. This will make some of them to be more serious. God bless Nigeria.

This is part of the 25,000kms road GEJ & his handlers are telling us have been done, Jona achievements are all on papers & not in reality, time to kick the clueless one out of Aso rock.

It the same highway that lead to minna (Jebba-mokawa-bida-minna/lapai which some part have been construted and some part still underconstrution because I saw it with my own eyes!!!... Op am not trying to defend the Government.. I just want the contractor to work fast that all... (Daz all)

I took that road to and fro Jigawa where i served in 1999. It is still fair then PDP/GEJ is a disaster

I think between Bode-Saadu and Jebba was not so good that time also. But between Ilorin and Bode-Saadu was very good.
