An IT consulting and construction firm based in Abuja is recruiting for the following vacancies:

1 Project Manager Construction- REF: PMC/01

Key Functions:
Planning, directing, scheduling and coordinating the implementation of Construction Projects
Develop and interpret designs and work procedures for projects
Review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Reports Directly to the CEO
Manage construction Staff
Ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope of projects
Generate detailed monthly project reports and cost tracking reports
Frequent travels to different job sites within the country

Qualification

Minimum of M.Sc. Architecture or related course or its equivalent
Minimum of 10 years cognate experience on major projects
Membership of professional body- NIA
Practical Knowledge of Project Management
Additional trainings and certification will be an added advantage

Competencies:
Analytical mind, Knowledge of codes and regulatory standards, Attention to detail, Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Time management, teamwork and ability to motivate people, ability to set and ensure goals and deadlines are met, Leadership and Initiative, Excellent Computer Skills. Ensure adherence to industry best practices



2 Project Manager IT: REF PMIT/02

Key Functions:

Planning, directing, scheduling and coordinating the implementation of IT Projects
Develop plans and work procedures for IT projects
Manage Technical Staff
Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) for IT projects
Generate detailed monthly project reports and cost tracking reports
Ensure compliance to project objectives, schedule and scope
Frequent travels to different job sites within the country


Qualification

B.Sc/B.Eng in Computer related course or its equivalent
Minimum of 8 years proven experience
Membership of COREN or other professional body will be an added advantage
Project Management or Additional IT trainings and certifications will also be an added advantage

Competencies:
Analytical mind, Knowledge of codes and regulatory standards, Attention to detail, Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Time management, teamwork and ability to motivate people, ability to set and ensure goals and deadlines are met, Leadership and Initiative, Excellent Computer Skills.



3. Quantity Surveyor- REF; QS/03

Key Functions

Provide quantity surveying expertise to the project team
Manage measurement of baseline quantities for review
Participate in project cost reviews/schedules
Prepare in-house estimates, provide accurate quantities and cost data, and analyse financial bids
Prepare detailed bills of quantities for projects for guidance purposes
Recommend corrective courses of action with regard to budgets and installations
Frequent travels to different job sites within the country

Qualifications

Minimum of B.Sc./B.Eng /HND in Civil/Structural Engineering, or a relevant branch of Quantity surveying, construction or civil engineering.
Minimum of 10 years cognate experience on major projects

Competencies

Leadership, Self-starter, Attention to detail, Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Time management, teamwork, ability to meet set goals and deadlines, and Initiative, Must be able to read and appreciate architectural and structural drawings
Familiarity with industry codes and practices, excellent computer skills,


4 Structural Engineer – REF; SE/ 04

Key functions

Carry out analysis and design of structures
Supervise structural detailing on project sites
Monitor construction work in accordance with drawings and specifications
Record progress and overall quality of work
Identify and resolve any inconsistencies, errors and omissions in drawings
Frequent travels to different job sites within the country

Qualification
Minimum of B.Sc/B.Eng Structural/ Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in major projects
Membership of ISE/COREN is an added advantage

Competencies
Attention to detail, Honesty, Integrity, teamwork, and Initiative, Must be able to read and appreciate architectural and structural drawings. Analytical mind, proactivity and result oriented.



5 Systems Engineer – REF: SE/05

Key functions
Develop and manage design requirements, specification, configuration and maintenance of local area network hardware and software
Provide network infrastructure for the project team
Implement network security at corporate level
Develop and manage disaster recovery methods
Reports to Project Manager IT
Frequent travels to different job sites within the country

Qualification:
Degree in Computer related Field
At least 5yrs cognate experience in systems engineering
Professional certifications will be an added advantage

Competencies:

Leadership, Self-starter, Attention to detail, Honesty, Integrity, Accountability, Time management, teamwork, ability to meet set goals and deadlines, and Initiative, Excellent computer skills, must be familiar and adhere to industry standards


6 Site Engineers – REF; SE/07

Key Functions

Implementing construction project plans
Implement work procedures
Manage Labour on site to ensure delivery of the project within time, costs and quality specifications
Identify project needs, budgets and estimates with the help of other key personnel and escalate to the Project Manager construction
Ensure compliance of building specifications and safety codes on site
Work directly with construction staff
Manage emergencies on the construction site
Reports to the Structural Engineer
Resident on job site


Qualification
Degree in building related course
Minimum of 5 years practical experience on site
Knowledge of building codes and guidelines
Proven Cognate experience in managing construction projects

Competencies:
Attention to detail, integrity, leadership, initiative,Ability to direct and motivate people, teamwork, ability to proffer alternative solutions to issues, result oriented, time management, ability to meet set deadlines, accuracy

7 Site Administrators – REF: SA/08

Key functions
Deal with vendors and suppliers of building materials
Take stock and keep detailed records of incoming supplies by vendors and suppliers
Keep records and Manage on-site requisitions and issuance of outgoing materials
Manage the on-site store and ensure safety of stock
Reports to the Quantity Surveyor
Resident on job sites


Qualifications:
Minimum of SSCE/WAEC

Competencies:
Honesty, Attention to detail, clear record- keeping abilities, firmness, security consciousness. Ability to read and write, Ability to communicate


8 IT Trainer – REF: TR/09

Key functions:

Develop and adapt detailed training materials on computer basics and other IT related topics
Plan and conduct activities for a balanced and favourable learning program
Frequent travels to different job sites within the country



Qualification:
Bachelor degree or equivalent in IT related field
Minimum of 3-5yrs Proven experience in IT training


Competencies:
Ability to impart knowledge on others, patience and tolerance, attention to detail.


9 Administrative and Human resources Officer; REF AHRO/010

Key Functions:

Managing corporate documents and office database
Preparing memos letters invoices and other official documents
Managing schedules, frameworks and agendas for the company
Ensures smooth day to day running of the office
Managing attendance and other staff related issues
Liaise and interface with vendors
Manage Support staff

Qualifications:
B.Sc / HND in Administration or social science related field
Minimum of 5-7 yrs post-graduation experience in a corporate environment

11 Business Development Associate - REF; BDA/011

Develop business plans in line with the company’s goals

Follow up with prospective clients and convince them on the company’s products and services

Qualification
Degree in Social Sciences or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 yrs. Cognate experience in marketing, business development, proposals development, bid documentation, etc.


Competencies:
Interpersonal skills, fluency in English and communication, result oriented, excellent computer skills, cheerfulness, drive, ability and willingness to meet targets, presentation skills (Strong knowledge of PowerPoint), Proactivity.

12 Accounts Assistant – REF; AA/012

Key functions
Accounting and book keeping
Maintaining accounting records
Check figures, documents and postings for correct entry and accuracy
Compile and summarize numerical and financial data
Manage spreadsheets and computer software, cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss records
Reconcile and report discrepancies found in records

Perform secretarial duties such as taking minutes of meetings, sending out and tracking schedules and tasks for staff
Fluency in English is a major requirement

Qualifications
B.Sc/HND/ND in social science related course
Previous experience as a receptionist is an added advantage
