The gullible Yoruba Youths see
the March 28 Presidential Election
as a contest between President
Goodluck Jonathan and
Muhammadu Buhari while the
noble Yoruba youths see the
election as a contest between the
Ooni of Ife and the Sultan of
Sokoto. It is a vote to choose
between keeping the traditional
values of the Yoruba people or the
establishment of the Arabian
values of Shari’a across
Yorubaland.

This much was obvious when on
October 3, 2011 at the Samuel L
and Elizabeth Jodidi Lecture
delivered at the Harvard University
by the Sultan of Sokoto on “Islam
and Peace-Building in West Africa.”
In response to a question, the
Sultan made bold to say that “he
does not recognize any Nigerian
constitution and that the only
constitution, he recognize is the
Quran”. He was applauded by
members of the audience including
the current Governor of Niger
State, Babangida Aliu.

Yerima Sanni, an ex-governor, held
a similar stand as a serving senator
of the Federal Republic in an open
interview. When interviewed about
his peadophiliac marriage to a
minor, he said, “I don’t recognize
any Nigeria constitution but the
Quran”,
Therefore, the Emirs, Sultans,
Sheiks, Mullahs have no respect for
the constitution of Nigeria, yet do
not want Nigeria to divide because
they see it as the Estate of their
grandfather. They determine who
becomes what, what to say and
not, say, what religion the states
adopt or permit, when to kill or
spare non-indigenes, who to bomb
or spare, who is worthy of the vote
no matter how brain dead, who
can vote or not irrespective of
what age limit the constitution
says.

By all reasonable standard, Nigeria
will remain a joke as long as there
is no regional autonomy.
The conclusion of the Ooni, Alaafin,
Oba of Bini, Olu of Warri, Adeboye,
Oyedepo, Oritsajafor, to support
Jonathan’s re-election is a clear
message to the Sultan of Sokoto,
the Emir of Kano, Shehu of Borno,
Lamido of Adamawa, Buhari and
all the Gambari that they will never
again rule over the Yoruba nation
and her people.

Without any fear of being
misunderstood, may I say that the
Hausa/Fulani from the North, who
are predominantly Muslims, do not
have regard for many things and
not only the constitution of
Nigeria. They are hopelessly
corrupt and the more reason they
have constantly worked against the
restructuring of Nigeria during
their 50 year reign, which ended
with the inauguration of President
Jonathan on May 6, 2010.

I actually thought the guy had something meaningful to read however, it ended up been some nonsense. If this is how we reason, we are not ready to move forward as a nation.
