Presidential Media aide, Reuben Abati has described as totally irresponsible the statement made by Governor of Lagos state Babatunde Fashola that the success of the robbery incident that occurred in Lekki yesterday March 12th was as a result of the drafting of all police formation in the state to protect President Jonathan who was in the state when the robbery incident occurred. Reuben Abati spoke to state house correspondence "We consider the statement attributed to Governor Fashola as grossly and utterly irresponsible. We expect that a man of his status who is the Governor of a state should speak more responsibly. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever that the entire police formation in a state would be deployed to protect the president of Nigeria. The visit of the President or any part of the country does not necessitate the depletion of the police force active in that particular state or its environment. Am sure GEJ also planned d robbery.. GEJ deployed all police force leaving out boys scout to guard d stations. The police team that lost their lives was on their way to GEJ show? Brethren, This is a desperate and urgent call from the throne of Grace that the brethren in Christ are about to make the greatest error of their lives by selling off their kingly heritage for a mess of pottage called "change". Change into what? Change into what happened to Egypt , Sudan, Lybia, Algeria and Turkey which were once flourishing Christian countries but because the brethren there also sold their souls on the premise of "it does not matter" they became the last set of Christians in those countries! Since then they have not looked back! Our Government gave them a contribution of 21 billion dollars then! Wonder then where the funding of boko Haram is coming from? They have painfully now infiltrated one of the biggest denominations in Nigeria and offered one of their best Pastors -a Professor,a Vice presidential Slot! Now a larger community of that denomination now promotes this "change"! They did it in Constantinople ! Remember brethren, that the biggest denomination of Christians in the North - the EYN has been wiped off! All their churches burnt. You may say that it is the North it can't get here! They said the same thing in Sudan, Libya, Algeria and Constantinople! How come the brethren have become so dulled in the Spirit that they no longer are sensitive? If you have witnessed the entourage of his excellency, you will notice that before he arrives you will have seen the presence of many security men. I think Fashola spoke as the chief security officer of the state who has invested A whole lot in strengthening of security in the state by equipping all necessary security apparatus from the police men to the defence Corps. With the amount of robbers at the scene you should know it has been properly planned and knowing that the visit of the president would warrant more men of the force, the robbers know the operation would be a work over. I think they really worked hard on their thoughts. What I am expecting now is for the police to wear proper thinking cap as well to unravel the theives and get justice for all that died including the fish seller on the road. |

Adekunlemetals1: Are you for real? Do you know how MANY policemen are operating in Lagos state? If you have witnessed Presidential entourage, can you estimate how many policemen are part of Jonathan's security detail (excluding SSS)? Has this kind of daylight robbery ever happened in Lagos within the last 4 years? I'm aware that police arrived at the scene some minutes after the robbers were gone. Did they come from GEJ's campaign venue? If your reasoning is anything to go by, then I guess even Fashola's personal security was drafted to attend to the Presidential visit abi? Fashola, the man I once held in high esteem has lost the sense of his duties. The Bible makes no mistake as it says do not walk with an angry man lest thou learn his ways. He established 9 new uni to make sure the 36 states of d federation have a fed.
