Atheist, You Can't Debunk/dispute This (hilarious Photo) / Muslim: This Guy Is Speaking Something That You Need To Debunk...prove His Lying (2) (3) (4)
Debunk These! by Liveair: 10:51am On Mar 14, 2015 |
Bible scholars only. If Jesus was faultless, debunk these: 1. Read John 7:8-10. Jesus lied to his siblings that he wasn't going for the trip as his time had not come, yet he sneaks out and goes after they leave him. 2. Read Mattew 16:28. He assured his listeners that some of them would still be alive when he comes as king. I guess they are still alive, waiting for his return as king, after some 2000+ years. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I was at this time of living, like so many Atheists or Anti-theists, in a whirl of contradictions. I maintained that God did not exist. I was also very angry with God for not existing. I was equally angry with Him for creating a world. |

Brymo:In other words, you were confused. You should have read and researched more cos it would seem that you had insufficient information. So at what stage are you now Brymo? 1 Like |

In pastor's voice... You guys have to open your spiritual eyes to see and understand the scriptures. . You are just so fleshy , minding the physical and unconscious of the spiritual knowledge in Jesus Christ. . If you guys need wisdom, ask for it and you will be given. Don't over rely on your impaired sights, thinking you can see. . I pray that God would open your eyes one day to see his reality. For the mean time...Shalom ! 3 Likes |

Liveair: 1. He went when His time came, duh. 2. Did He? I cannot find it in my bible. |
Re: Debunk These! by Liveair: 10:04pm On Mar 14, 2015 |
Image123: 1. Hahaha, so his time came minutes after they left? How convenient! Remember, he first said, "...I am not going to the..." and not, "...I will not go now to the..." 2. Then you need a bigger bible that has the book of MATTEW! |

I'm not a bible scholar but they are easy to answer. 1. Joh 7:8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. Jesus said go to the feast, I will not go yet, He went later, no lie there. 2. Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. And six days later some did see Jesus appear in His Kingdom. Mat 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. Mat 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. 1 Like |

johnw74:1. So moments after his siblings left, his time then came? Besides, some translations do not have the word YET. They simply read, "...I am not going...". 2. You have mixed things up! Read from Mattew 16:27, he clearly was talking about his second coming. Transfiguration doesn't mean second coming, ok. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Seeing that number one has been clearly answered though mockers will always refuse to accept the glaring truth lest they be tagged debunked, I want to answer number 2 . No.2) In many places in the scripture where Jesus mentioned "Death" He mostly refered to the second death. So it is easy to agree that He spoke of the second death meant for the sinners and disobedient. Those that understand will understand. |

Liveair: No, Jesus time didn't come moments after His brothers left he didn't leave with them as He said but wen't later there is no lie in His statment. 2. You have mixed things up! I am quoteing the verse which mentions appearing in His Kingdom you have mixed things up by using words other than Jesus used it is on what He said that he is to be Judged not what you say He meant he did not lie Luk_9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God. Jesus does not lie Joh_1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Joh_1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Joh_14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Joh_18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. 1 Like |

johnw74: johnw74: Please always try reading other translations other than the KJV that you have, they will enlighten you more. Other translations say '...i am not going to the feast...', nothing like YET. Typical! How can you quote Lk 9:27 to explain Mtt 17:1 , this is very crafty! Look, use the preceeding verses in Mattew 16:27 to explain Mattew 16:28, thats only logical. Mattew 16:27-28 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to hos works. v28 Verily i say unto you, There be some here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Hope its clear to you now. Does that sound like Transfiguration to you? As for the rest of your write up, its futile cos you cant use the bible, which itself, is under scrutiny to now defend itself. Hope it makes sense. 1 Like 1 Share |

Liveair: Luk_9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God. I believe Luke as well as Matthew I like his wording of that verse better to matthews but for you I will use Matthew Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Matthew along with luke say some here wont die until they see the Kingdom of God or until they see the son of man coming in his Kingdom, and they saw Jesus in His Kingdom, glorified and speaking with Elijah and Moses six days later. The word Jesus used for coming was "erchomai " which means "appear" as well as other applications, and the event does describe the transfiguration G2064 ἔρχομαι erchomai er'-khom-ahee Middle voice of a primary verb (used only in the present and imperfect tenses, the others being supplied by a kindred [middle voice] word, ἐλεύθομαι eleuthomai or ἔλθω elthō; which do not otherwise occur); to come or go (in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively): - accompany, appear, bring, come enter, fall out, go, grow, X light, X next, pass, resort, be set. Total KJV occurrences: 639 Of course having posted to you a couple of times and you still insist that Jesus is a liar I wont be posting to you again As for the rest of your write up, its futile cos you cant use the bible, which itself, is under scrutiny to now defend itself. Hope it makes sense. You don't. |

Jonhw74, Either you have simply refused to learn or you just cant find where its necessary that you must learn! Your introduction of the Greek word used in the translation has done you more harm than good. Again, please read the PRECEDING verses from Matthew 16:27-28 like i mentioned earlier so you understand what he was talking about that culminated in his making the statement about his coming in his kingdom WITH HIS ANGELS. Matthew 16:27-28 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. v28 Verily i say unto you, There be some here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Reading the preceding verses, Matthew 16:21, Jesus talked about his sufferings and death, going on to talk about his return with his angels in verses 27-28, and will reward everyone according to their works. So, if this meant the transfiguration, after your 'Transfiguration' did he judge or reward people according to their works? I REALLY NEED A BIBLE SCHOLAR. |

someone say's that Jesus lied, and some others agree with him/her 1. Read John 7:8-10. Jesus lied to his siblings the scribes and Pharisees said Jesus had a demon they will never be forgiven, Jesus had the Holy Spirit not a demon Mar_3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: the lake of fire is the final home for many who talk evil of the Lord who change the plain meaning of scripture etc Joh_1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Joh_1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Joh_14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Your final destination is up to Jesus and you say He lies Joh_18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. |
