The US has so much crude oil it has nowhere to put it. Could drive oil prices even lower.
The billion dollar question: Is Nigeria ready for the inevitable?

...as tanks reach their limits, oil prices will again nosedive, potentially all the way to $20 a barrel. With no place to store crude, producers and trading companies would likely have to sell their oil to refineries at discounted prices, which could finally persuade producers to stop pumping.
Good news.

Perhaps,it will help us develop other sectors and also, reduce the miscreants we have tolerated for so long.

I hope it gets to $1. The effect would be devastating at first but we will survive, this is a blessing in disguised.

Good riddance to bad rubbish...now this will make the incompetent government led by the clueless president to go and search for their "stolen common sense" so that they can start doing what is right e.g looking into other sectors which they ignored all this while because they were busy focusing on how to continue to enrich their pockets with the oil wealth......Bunch of senseless professional thieves...

I'm very sure you didnt mean this. If it happens, foreign countries will close their borders in anticipation of a mass exodus from Nigeria, as Nigerians will be running abroad to live in better organized nations. Then the baboon and the lion will roast in Nigeria. This country will be destroyed because Nigeria will no longer be able to afford to fight boko haram, they will recruit massively due to poverty and unemployment, and kidnapping and armed robbery will rise in the south. And with security agents brutalizing the masses, you sure dont wanna go back to the 1967, do you? Because this time, it would be people against themselves, no longer tribes against one another.

You better start by opening your eyes to the realities before its late

Oya make we go beg US…No human can survived without oil? undecided. This is inevitable and you know that, oil price would continue to nosedive. Rather than whining over it a sensible Nation would seek for alternatives.

Op the prices are driven down by Saudi not USA . Do you research first . The saudis are flooding the market so that countries that are doing fracking thier cost will go up causing Saudi to dominate the market again
