Here are some Tips To Help You Pass That Job Interview.. Pls Take Note.. by ritchsongz(m): 8:19am On Mar 15, 2015
Now an interview is nt based solely on ur intellect bt so many other things we tend to neglect becos we tink "its nt important". Here are some things i noticed, as the reason why most ppl fail?
1. GOOD DRESS SENSE- most people go for an interview dressed like a rainbow, some grls expose their body like its a porn interview. Goin 4 an interview u dnt need to dress casual, be coperately dressed( ur shirt tucked in, a plane trouser nt chinos, a suit preferably, or a waist coat, and a tie). Ur shoe shld be either black or brown.. Plz ur dressin matters a whole lot. And ladies a jean trouser is nt acceptable, preferably a pencil or a straight skirt, a shirt a jacket and a high heeled shoe.. With a touch of light make up,.... Look Good..
2. PLEASE SMELL SOMETHING- you hav been smellin body all your life, if goin 4 an interview please spray sth, a body spray or perfume.. And 4 a touch of mystery combine perfumes and body spray. Bt dnt over pour it like u tryin to kil a mosquito. The best way to spray a perfume is, two on ur neck line, two at the back of ur hand just below ur wrist. Then hold it at about 5 inches away from ur shirt and spray. Bt if u r combining the second one should be less than the first and the third less than the second.. The interviewer would like to knw that u are concious of ur personality, u smell tells people abt u. Please smell nice when goin 4 an interview.
3. SMILE- It warms up the whole room, it makes the interviewer warm up to you...
4. BE DIRECT AND HONEST- If you are asked a question, instead of beatin around the bush and later failing it, be direct i.e "i dnt have a concise answer to that question sir/ma" it shows responsibility and self confidence.
5. LADIES AVOID HAVING A CHEWING GUM IN UR MOUTH DURING AN INTERVIEW- You come off as irresponsible, some ppl forget and try to hide the gum underneath their tongue, it'll affect ur speech. Just dnt chew anything. And its distracting.
6. Make sure u know as much about the company as possible
7. ENGAGE EYE CONTACT THROUGH OUT THE INTERVIEW- dnt be scared, if u really want the job ur eyes will convey ur want.. Try this exercise, look at a friend in the eyes and say this words in ur mind, i hate u, u are a fool, i dnt want u to come here again. Afta like 20 mins ask him what he was feelin the whole time.. Eye contact is important.
8. DONT BE TOO SPIRITUAL- Some ladies wil go into an interview hall prayin, like are u kiddin me? This aint a church it is business, keep ur church ethics outside, some ladies go as far as nt rubin powder and their face wil be like fryin pan! Full of oil, u r nt being spiritual u r being stupid. Some guys when aske a question like "how are you"? They'll be like "we thank God sir" chai... That is nt what u were asked? How are u? Fine.. Spiritual..
9. READ READ READ READ READ READ READ READ.
10. HOW MUCH WOULD U LIKE US TO PAY YOU? - killer question, and some people end up sayin 1million, 100thousand, mehn before going for an interview familiarise urself with the salary ranges, then if u are asked dont cal any amount just yet. Tell them the salary accorded to the position u are applyin for shld be paid, bt if they are askin 4 a value then give them the one u have investigated.
FINALLY BE SMART.... AND WISE.... a NO from an interviewer is nt neccessarily the end. Theres stil better things ahead... Good luck. And God bless ur HUSTLE..
