Arab-Americas-Asia-Africa Business Summit 2009 - Linking Trade and Investment Flows through the Middle East

On behalf of the Commonwealth Business Council, Dubai Group and the United Arab Emirates, we would like to invite you to the Arab-Americas-Asia-Africa Business
Summit (AAAA) to be held at The Monarch Dubai One, Sheikh Zayed Road Dubai, UAE from 4th to 5th February 2009

This year's event will examine the new role of Dubai in promoting South-South economic development as a Middle Eastern hub, and will be organised in association with the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

The summit will be attended by senior government members, business, industry leaders and strategic investors, and is expected to build on the inaugural programme held in March 2007 in Cape Town and the 2008 Summit in Mauritius. The Dubai Summit will focus on the ways in which the new economic actors in emerging economies drive forward global development and create wealth.

With over 500 delegates from all over the world, the conference aims to explore increased collaboration between the Southern economies in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas in order to promote global economic development and map shifting patterns of co-operation between these economies and those of the mature industrialised countries.

Key themes at the Summit will be:

Infrastructure, renewable energy sources, technology and financing models
Developing the knowledge economy: focus on ICT and IT enabled services
Access to finance, trade finance, venture capital and private equity, development
Finance
