Got this from a colleague and i also wanna share

Having decamped twice from PDP, the party which brought him to power as Vice President from 1999 to 2007, he believed his Presidential ambitions would be fulfilled by joining APC. Insiders say he had consulted widely with Bola Tinubu who had given assurances to him that he would clinch the APC Presidential ticket. And so he decamped.
It was to his utmost shock that he found out that Tinubu and the APC had sold him a dummy. He was schemed out of the Presidential race and disgraced to third place at the convention after having reportedly spent over 5 billion naira to campaign for his nomination. Worse still, he had been forced to sign an undertaking with other Presidential Candidates in APC not to defect if any of them lost.
And so he remained. Putting up a couple of grin - and - bear - it appearances at some APC events and occasional statements of vilification of President Jonathan; just to show that he was still kosher with the party.
But he suddenly went quiet. Reports say he refused to fund the Buhari Campaign and sulked away in his mansion, adopting a wait - and - see attitude. To his horror, his arch-enemy and nemesis, President Obasanjo whom he dislikes with a passion, left PDP and has made moves to join APC or rather is being wooed to join and is reportedly agreeable somewhat to the idea.
What? Would he, Atiku, be made to suffer further humiliation by being in the same political enclave with his biggest traducer? No. He wouldn't take it.
And Atiku reportedly gave his Plan B.
Some members of his political group, the erstwhile powerful Peoples Democratic Movement, PDM, in the Southwest zone openly decamped to PDP and declared for President Jonathan officially today. This strategic group in the Southwest holds the important key to the political structures of Atiku in the Southwest region and are somewhat political power mongers in that zone. They are now officially with Jonathan.
How did this happen? Eh? Where? The APC is asking and side - eyeing Atiku who's saying he had no hand in it. Indeed. Perhaps.
But the APC propaganda machine published in Sahara Reporters a few hours ago an interesting scoop. They reported that on Friday night, Atiku was about to go to bed when his Gateman told him that President Jonathan was in his living room! Surprised, Atiku received him and there was a discussion. Of course, the Propagandists had to twist the story to make it seem as if Atiku was offered the headship of an interim government by Jonathan and even quoted Atiku as saying so. Quite a great subterfuge by Atiku. Ingenious.
Of course he will come out to deny that he will never go back to PDP. That's a Janus- faced strategy. Deny and even abuse the PDP and the President. But he knows what was agreed that night in Jonathan's masterstroke meeting.
And today, Atiku's foot soldiers in the Southwest openly moved to Jonathan's camp. Interim government ko, arrangee government ni! Deft political masterstroke.
Those who wish Buhari foisted on Nigeria again always dance in glee when people decamp from PDP to APC. They forget to examine the fibre of those who could run from a party which made them wealthy just for political opportunism. Those kind of politicians never ever can be wholly trusted on their new party. And that's how Buhari will lose this March. He's getting so many kisses from Judases who had once held the Purse strings for Jonathan. Seeing Buhari has nothing to offer except an alliance with Tinubu, these guys remember the pacifism of Jonathan and will run back home.
And Jonathan is like the forgiving father waiting with open arms to receive the Prodigals. Politics without bitterness.
Just come on home, my friends. Come on home.

Atiku has no structure in the southwest.

He may have a few man Fridays and yes men who are simply there for the lucre but they are an anonymous bunch and cannot rally a single vote other than theirs.

Throughout the APC campaign, Atiku has been in the background and there he shall remain.

If there was even a chance about him being anything, it would be that he has always been a Jonathan mole in the APC.

I prayed feverently when the APC primaries were being held. My prayers were for Atiku to lose.

Fact is, there is only one politician who can be as terrible in leadership as Jonathan and that is Patience Jonathan. Atiku is a distant second.

Neither fit for the role of President of the Federel Republic of Nigeria.
