please whats the difference between pleading guilty or not guilty?
there are cases were d evidence is overwhelming yet when u plead, theyll grant u bail.
ive seen cases when pple get bail whether they plead guilty ir not guilty and sometimes ure convucted no matter what.vso whats d diff between PLEADING guilty or not guilty?

I am not a lawyer or a law student, so I might be wrong. I feel when a person pleads guilty, he spares the court the time to examine and cross examine evidences and witnesses. Therefore, the judge can move on to passing sentence. He may or may not be granted bail, depending on the gravity of the crime/offence. The sentence passed on the person may be linient. But most people who feel they have a chance in the case will plead not guilty, which will elongate the court process.
