I am looking to buy a phone and someone is selling me one and says it is an iphone OEM. Does that mean that it looks exactly like the iphone and does what the iphone does but does not have the apple brand name? |

What is the OEM period. So lets not get stuck on the iphone. What if it was a blackberry one or any other technology. Does the OEM mean it is a similar platform or does it mean that it works similar and it actually looks like it |

OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer, which refers to makers of branded equipment as against non-branded generic clones. in the case of the iphone there's only one OEM; Apple. anything else is probably china-china fakery. |
