We are a finance house located in both Lagos and Port Harcourt. We are presently recruiting for the position:

JOB TITLE: Internal Audit Officer

REPORTS TO: Head, Internal Audit

QUALIFICATION: B.sc / HND in Accounting

WORK EXPERIENCE: 2 to 3 years working experience with at least one year in an audit firm.


JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for day to day activity in the internal audit department by ensuring that internal control checks are carried out on all pre-disbursement transactions.


JOB DESCRIPTION
 Carry out pre and post transaction audit through the audit checklist on daily basis
 Report on findings from audit assignments
 Query transactions without proper authorization and approval
 Perform substantive and walk through tests where necessary
 Cary out special audit when the need arise (investigation)
 Ensure strict adherence to internal control procedures
 Report on any deviation from internal control procedures
 Carry out ad-hoc assignment as directed by Head, Internal Audit
