|Bioricehusk: We Transform Rice Husk Into Organic Fertilizer! by BioRiceHusk: 3:35pm On Mar 24, 2015|
Nigeria is the largest rice producer in Sub-Saharan Africa, but also the leader in rice imports worldwide. Africa expends 4 billion USD per year in rice.
The consumption of this cereal is increasing by a 5% per year, reason why it is important to increase the rice production rates in the continent, which are very low when comparing to the world average.
Furthermore, rice husk is a huge problem due to its accumulation in many sub-Saharan countries, where this vegetable waste is burned due to its lack of commercial value, causing serious pollution problems and worsening the quality of the soil due to the shortage of nutrients.
In 2050 it is estimated that African population will double, reaching the 2 billion people mark, and that’s why Africa will need to solve 3 big problems in the next decades:
Improve the food production rates in Africa
End with rice husk accumulation
Reduce the cost of importing rice into Africa
Our patented process can help to solve the 3 of them, converting each ton of rice husk into:
500 kg of solid humus
2500 litters of liquid humus
100 kg of organic silicon and calcium (high value for the pharmacological and cosmetic industries)
We are aware that Dangote Group, among other organizations in the continent has invested large amounts of money in rice production in Nigeria recently, and we are looking for the right contacts (people, organizations and/or governments) in the rice industry in Nigeria and the whole African continent in order to develop our technology.
For any additional information or question, please do not hesitate to check our website www.bioricehusk.com or contact us through email firstname.lastname@example.org . Our team will be happy to help you.
Thank you very much,
