March28.0 - FOR SATURDAY'S POLL-NOTICE


March28.1- ACCREDITATION & VOTING
Accreditation holds btw 10AM & 1PM...Only PVCs allowed.
Voting btw 1:30PM & 5PM.
Your party is entitled to one observer per polling unit.
There will be 3 ballot boxes in each voting/polling point
RED Covered box is for Presidential
BLACK covered box for Senatorial
GREEN covered box for House of Rep
N.B: Each ballot paper has corresponding colour stripe to ensure you put the right paper in the right ballot box.
Also, there will be an overseer whose primary job is to ensure you put the right paper in the right box


March28.2- SORTING & COUNTING
After voting, there will be two sortings.
The first to check for wrongly placed ballot papers which will then be placed into the right ballot box
The second is to determine the votes cast by voters for each political party/candidate


March28.3 - RESULT & ANNOUNCEMENT
At the end of counting,result will be announced to the hearing of all & A RESULT POSTER TO BE PASTED AT THE POLLING UNITS. Copies of the result sheet are to be given to accredited party agents who are present while THE ORIGINAL IS TO BE CONVEYED TO THE WARD LEVEL COLLATION CENTRE BY THE PRESIDING OFFICER ACCOMPANIED BY SECURITY AGENTS & PARTY AGENTS.
At the ward collation centre,if there are complaints and/or evidence of alteration of accreditation figures on the result sheets,the information on accreditation saved on the card readers used would be used by the collation officer to decide on the case

March28.4 - RESULT PUBLICATION & ACCESSIBILITY
Hard copies of result sheets from the polling units WOULD BE SCANNED,CONVERTED TO PDF FORMAT AND BE PUT IN A DATABASE WHICH WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOAD via INEC website.
This is to ensure transparency & instant access to results @ ward level in shortest possible time after voting.
