NFF Approves Stephen Keshi contract by succyreal(m): 11:22am On Mar 26, 2015
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has
announced that the contract offered to former
Super Eagles captain Stephen Keshi has been
approved.
It was exclusively reported on supersport.com on
Tuesday that Keshi has accepted the terms of the
contract offered to him by the Federation.
The NFF, through its president Amaju Pinnick, has
now confirmed the news, but revealed that the
coach has yet to sign the dotted lines.
“Keshi has not yet signed a new contract (as
Nigeria coach). We had an executive committee
meeting of the NFF (on Wednesday) and the
technical committee submitted a report on Keshi’s
contract situation.
“The contract has been approved (by the executive committee of the NFF) and we are good to go,” Pinnick
told SuperSport TV on Wednesday night.
It is now expected that Keshi will sign a new contract as Nigeria coach in the coming days.
The 53-year-old has previously managed Mali and Togo.
