why must u compare us with America,is that the only country in this world see Brazil they have a female president. Brazil is too far sef, lets come down to Africa, Malawi has a female president and even in west Africa here Liberia has a female President so why can't it happen in Nigeria. If Americans don't want to have a female president that is their problem not ours biko. smiley smiley
let women win in their states first let's judge them before sending them to aso rock. Is that too much to ask

2030 is not that far away.
We will get there.
One day one day.
The struggle is real.

Nothing good ever comes easy and no cause was won over night. But as sure as the sun rises, women will have their place in Nigerian politics.
These past few years have seen an upsurge in that area.

At the rate it happened this past few years, if it is continued at that rate, we will even achieve it sooner than expected.

My happiness is that they have been doing well so far. Even better than the men who were in such positions before them.
I agree. Women are beginning to take their place in politics with APC leading the way. Most of the deputies in the States are females. They even have a female governorship candidate in Taraba this year. If she wins, its a plus for women. I salute the courage of Nigerian women in politics. Even I myself can't venture into such danger.

#hollanigerianwomeninpolitics.

There is no part of our constitution that says "a woman must vote for a woman". We are talking about the best or better qualified candidate here, and not sentiments like the GEJites are doing. Nigerians who are convinced that she can deliver will vote for her of course. But kudos to her for the courage and self belief that she has what it takes to lead Nigeria.

This kowa party seems very unserious to me,how do they intend garnering votes without any serious campaigns in any of the geopolitical zones in the country except meeting some select groups for a town meeting? Imagine she granted an interview in one of the radio stations and when asked why her party wasnt having campaigns like the front runners, she replied they couldnt afford it and that miracles do happen when asked if she'd would win. She doesnt even have serious presence on social media and other media. I think she should just support any of the front runners and go back to being an academic.

i watched the debate, she was quite jumpy and nervous, her answers to questions on issues in the country were too simplistic for a prof and showed she lacked preparation to give the kind of inspiring answers one would have desired to hear. Did you listen to the two okories(the one with red cap and the other in black cap),these two were the highlights of the 2nd part of the debate, they talked with passion and sense of direction. I choose them ahead of jonathan based on performance at the debate, the lady came a distant last after that onovo guy. She didnt speak with any conviction like she knew what she was talking about. She was content with just showing off her diction and understanding of the french language
