The results of the presidential election in 11 out of the 27 local government areas in Imo State collated on Sunday in Owerri, capital of the state, show that President Goodluck Jonathan, who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, is clearly leading his main opponent, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Major-Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd.). The collated results were from Ideato North, Isiala-Mbaino, Isu, Obowo, Ohaji-Egbema,. Okigwe, Owerri Municipal, Owerri West, Nwangene, Oru East and Ideato South LGAs. Jonathan polled a total of 210,022 votes to grab the lead ahead of Buhari, who had 50,977 votes. The latter won in Ideato South, Governor Rochas Okorocha’s home LGA, by 12, 128 votes as against Jonathan’s 6,406 votes. http://www.punchng.com/news/jonathan-takes-the-lead-in-imo/ 7 Likes 1 Share

At least we got 25% from Imo. Thanks Gov Rochas and I hope you get reelected because you are the best Igbo governor. I am also expecting at least 40% for APC in Edo and 25% in Rivers. My only prayer now is GEJ/PDP to accept defeat and handover to Buhari peacefully. 100 Likes 4 Shares |

The only rigging option left for PDP is to deny Buhari less than 25% in Imo, Rivers, and all other SS/SE states. Unfortunately for PDP, their antics may not be enough to offset Buhari's wave. 38 Likes 1 Share |

The plan of PDP and Nigerian Military is to deny Buhari the 25% of the vote from every states in the South-east and South-south. I won't be surprised if Buhari gets around 15% of the vote in Imo State. INEC has a lot of trouble in its hand with what is going on in Southeast. This is blatant robbery going on there. In the other news, AIT on the verge of announcing Buhari as winner. Here is AIT Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/aittvnews?fref=ts 17 Likes 3 Shares |

nduchucks: Even at that GMB will get the required 24 states: Win in 21 states - Ondo (55%), Oyo (63%), Ogun (59%), Osun (61%), Lagos (56%), Niger, Kogi (64%), Kwara (70%), Adamawa (59% atm), Bauchi, Gombe, borno, Jigawa (86%), kaduna (67% atm), Kano (90%), Katsina (93%), Kebbi, Sokoto, Yobe, Zamfara and FCT 25% or more in 6 states - Edo, Ekiti (40%), Benue, Nassarawa (46.4%), Plateau, Taraba (44.3%). Total is 27 states already. So, minus all the remaining SS/SE states GMB will win at the first ballot. 56 Likes 3 Shares |

When some notaable idiots here were screaming victory for GMB in Imo State, citing massive campaign crowd, blah blah blah. I pointed out their stupidity. I told them the crowd was there for Rochas and the goodies. Imo State isn't swayed by Party names. They love Rochas, yes, but it's obvious what I was telling them earlier. Buhari is never popular amongst Imolites. Watch out for the governorship elections. Rochas can still win that. 6 Likes |
