It is almost impossible to find a home where one or two members do not take exception to eating some dishes. But then again there are dishes everyone in your family from dad down to the last child cannot resist. As for my family it is (breadfruit)ukwa followed by boiled yam and eggstew. Now what about yours?

Rice pilaf, the way my mom makes it. But then I always end up making my own salmon/fish side-dish, bc I don't like red meat, and no one else likes seafood.

Pilaf rice is basically rice cooked in fresh-made broth. It's ridiculously time-consuming, but totally worth it, and wayyy better than using stock cubes. We go all out on the ingredients and spices we use, so I'm a little intimidated by having to list the process, and all it's ingredients. Luckily, there's a comprehensive YT video I can share with you. My mom's is a little different from this, but it's the same concept.
