A NEW BEGINNING.
Today Nigeria begins a new journey of change.
A change that started after many years of military rule.
1999 was the year PDP took the mantle. Let us not forget that this democracy did not come easy as we use this opportunity to remember those that paid supreme sacrifice for our freedom.
What is the meaning of this change?
This change to ordinary Nigerians that made it possible means:
1. Light, good education, freedom of speech and religion, association and ability to walk the streets in any path of the country.
2. Freedom means that our resources should be used for the benefit of Nigerians especially in the area of securing lives and property and providing basic infrastructure.
3. Democracy means that our leaders should start to focus on those things that will strengthen our country and put us exactly on the position where we are meant to be among League of Nations.
4. Democracy means that Nigerians begin to get justice for injustices done to them by the past administration through a reformed inexpensive legal system.
5. Fighting terror and compensating those that have lost both life and there means of livelihood.
6. Revamping our oil sector to meet the demands of time.
7. Creating jobs, and jobs and jobs.
8. Investing in science and technology, and building infrastructure.
9. Remodeling our constitution to give citizens more confidence in the country.
TO BE CONTINUED.
