The battle for the lone Enugu-East senatorial seat between former governor of the state and candidate of the People for Democratic Change (PDC), Chimaraoke Nnamani and Senator Gilbert Nnaji of the PDP assumed a frightening dimension Wednesday as supporters of the former wuo trouped out to demonstrate against INEC's declaration of Nnaji as the winner were roundly teargassed by soldiers and policemen, while some were reportedly arrested.

The former governor who had equally led thousands of people on a protest match round the metropolis on Monday, declared another round of protest which he tagged 'Occupy Enugu', Wednesday leading out yet another overwhelming crowd of supporters to the headquarters of Enugu North council near the popular Ogbete market.

They were however dispered by gun-wielding soldiers and policemen who gave them serious chase up to Obiagu round about. Several loads of teargas cannisters were fired at the rampaging crowd, leading to a near stampede at the market as traders scampered for safety.

But, Senator Gilbert Nnaji who reacted to the mass protest said his victory over former governor of Enugu state, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani in the Enugu East senatorial contest was not in doubt.

The lawmaker, who defeated Nnamani and two other candidates in the senatorial contest last Saturday, said there was no way the former governor could have won the election because while Nnamani concentrated on radio jingles, he, Nnaji was doing open and underground campaign.

He said: “If Nnamani is claiming that he won the election, let him come and prove how he did it. You people can check the ballot boxes and see if there is any evidence of falsification. All he is doing is to try and misinform the public.

All thanks to gej the hero of our time who in all honesty and humilty chose not to rig the election as it was been done by OBJ and tinubu so that nigeria will not divide. Yet the gworo chewing master and their perpetual slaves still voted him out.

They allowed PDP rigging machinery have a field day to do their thing believing the rigging will only be for the PRESIDENTIAL POLL since they are all helping a brother across the Delta.

Now the breeze don blow, fowl yansh don dey show and truth coming out small small.

APGA suffered same faith in Abia and Anambra and they caused themselves defeat in places they would have won effortlessly give the PDP one feet they will go 10miles.

The moment INEC announced the reversal to manual accreditation, they went all out to steal as much ballot papers as possible and thumbprinted across the board for their party candidates.

When a Stella Oduah and Buruji Kashamu will earn the accolade of DISTINGUISH SENATOR then it means the PDP has no place in the CHANGE MANTRA of the new regime coming in.
