Imo state politics has recorded a clean slate since 2011 General election with expunged Ikedi Ohakim to usher in Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha. It was indeed a very remarkable event in the history as the Imo people voted massively for their rightful choice in 2011.

2015 General elections is here with us. April 11 is the Guber Election and Imo State will again deliver in their duty to elect their choice into the office of the executive governor.

Imo has 3 leading parties; the APC, APGA and PDP. Other parties are faintly felt in Imo.
