We Nigerians know good things when we see One!!!!!Mind you am not into music, am a dedicated listener! i notice after carefully following different post by people, its so obvioulsy clear that my findings are true, "ALL OUR STUPID ARTIST ARE ON THESE FORUM" its so sure that the artist themselves knows they needed to be diplomatics cuz they aint good enuff, ALL BLACK MEN ARE RAPPERS SO HOW CAN SOMEONE COME OUT AND SAY M.I IS THE BEST RAPPER IN NIGERIAif they can be listed am sure MI wont even be in the first 30million considering the Unknown. Dont get it twisted M.I is a very good artist but just another number.Tuface enter the place single is one of the worst track i ve ever heard in my life(my opinion) Nigerians are crowd followers, Modenine or watever u call him is on nairaland,MI,saucekid etc, IF you are good as an artist nigerians will know, hard to admit Eedris and his dumb touts,plat-whatever fools too back in the days came up with the revolutionary style of music in nigeria that its availiable at the moment though it can only get better. The traditional artist we have like the like of fela,King sunny, zaki etc didnt have to impersonate, because they were GOOD! I bought there stuffs so i appreciate nigerian tunes, amazing one even went as far as telling his friends base in london to find one but white who can play his tune just to get fans appreciation, wow! and it worked , hmm stealing comes in different forms I cant see "the not earning attitude runs through our blood as nigerian" but i guess it works for them i expects to be backlash for writing dis as the artist themselves will reply in forms or they just keep quite and not reply, |

bigyinka: Yes now, that is why all black men are recognize everywhere, that is why all black men are making money. Why I just saw an interview on TV where all black men were interviewed and I must say I liked the way all black men carried themselves. All black men's free styling was off the hook, I suspect all black men will be raking in the awards soon. All Hail All Black Men!! |

i believe that lately in Nigeria we are categorizing as hip-hop also what is not 2 defined as such. and i think that Nigeria should find a genre that can be only defined as original naija genre like gallala, konto, swo(naija dance hall).in the same way ivorians have coupe, ghanians hip life, congolese dombolo, camerunians makossa, south africans kwaito,, etc."! i believe giving an award a name like "hip-hop world award" is a real bulshit!i would have give something like "naija nu-urban award (is less general).and i can say that there a lot of naija rappers and mcs in the underground with a full baggage of ideas that need 2 be discovered!not artistes that after sometimes they don't come again with new ideas, unchangeble artistes like dj premier who are always faithfull to their original formula, artistes that don't repeat the same things 100 times in a word just 2 make noise or money! the true is that we nigerians need to know what really we are made for!taking ispiration from artistes abroad an at home.sampling our masters(fela, prince nico,c.e.obey, etc) classics and looking around the enviroment that sorrounds us,spitin 2 or three words in pidgin,to put in sentence reality!then yes, we can have street credibility! artistes like african china 4 me are more real than artistes like 9ice even if they don't deal with hiip-hop! just take a look al "crisis",that song remains a masterpiece!oh i can remember one old song of junglist,i don't rememba the title but it use to do like this"omo, where the ghana-must-go, tieram!i need a nu razor blade, tieram!, ".this songs are reality that happen in nigeria! |
