Chelsea(2) Vs Middlesbrough(0) On Wednesday 28th January by Cristalz(f): 7:30pm On Jan 25, 2009
The English Premiership action continues with Chelsea hosting Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, 19.45 GMT. That's 8.45pm Nigerian time.

Chelsea are currently 3rd on the table,2 points behind Liverpool and table-toppers United. The Blues had an impressive FA cup win over Ipswich town and seem to be doing much better as a team.
Rumors are flying though that Inter boss Jose Mourinho is planning to make a bid for out-of-favor Didier Drogba.  .  .doubt that the team will miss him much if he leaves, going by his recent form. But it's still all a rumor as at now.
Definitely the team will want all 3 points on Wednesday to put them back at the top of the table.

Middlesbrough are in relegation zone on the table, 18th position. They won their FA cup game though, 2-1 against Wolverhampton. Boro who are well known for nicking points off the big Prem teams seem to have faltered in that respect this season.  .  .and presently it's not looking very much like anything will change when they go to the Bridge on Wednesday.
Boro's latest signing, Marlon King (on loan from Wigan Athletic), may feature to help salvage at least a point to help keep their heads above water.

Chelsea are the favorites for this one though.  .  .it's about to get real hot up there on the table.

Marlon Made For A Challenge
LAST night's results have given both sides added
incentive to win at Stamford Bridge tonight, but one man
perhaps has more of a point to prove than the rest.

"The gaffer asked me if I was up for a challenge and I
am," says new signing Marlon King. "I just want to
knuckle down and get on with things for Boro now."
If King - who was on the end of s 3-0 defeat against
Chelsea at the KC Stadium earlier this season - wants a
challenge he's about to get his wish, as Luiz Felipe
Scolari's side need to win to close the gap on
Manchester United.

It's a gap which was widened to five points with a 5-0
thumping of West Brom at the Hawthorns, while wins for
Tottenham and Sunderland helped pull those clubs away
from the relegation zone.

The results left the bottom two, West Brom and Stoke
(who now without a win in nine), unchanged, with Boro
next then Blackburn, who entertain Bolton this evening.

Defeat for Portsmouth left them looking over their
shoulders, while Fulham with just one win in nine means
there are not comfortable despite their 10th place.
"It's hard not to look at other results but it's all
about focussing on what we do," says King. "There are
players in this team who can produce a bit of magic.
They have been great and everyone has helped me settle
in very well.
"But the table doesn't lie. Sometimes you look at it and
see teams who have spent a lot of money and they're down
with us. Money doesn't buy you success.
"Sometimes it's about getting results the ugly way.
Worth ethic is very important, doing the ugly things
well, the basics. It starts with the foundation and that
starts tonight at Chelsea.
"What game is easy? No-one is unbeatable, teams are
losing points all over the place, Southend gave Chelsea
a real game recently, so did Stoke and Ipswich. If you
stand off and show respect they'll take advantage of you
- we're all looking for to this
.
"Before this season they hadn't lost at home for four
years, but this year the league is different. First and
foremost it's all about survival, that is massively
important for this club.
"
Full coverage of tonight's game will be available
on Boro World. Right now on Boro World we have
exclusive interviews with Marlon, Gareth Southgate
and captain Emanuel Pogatetz.

I SEE BORO GIVING CHELSEA A RUN FOR THEIR WASTED MONEY.

if u hate chelsea for the main reason that u think we bought our way into the top 4 clubs, then i'm sorry. u myte prolly be doing same to Man City in the next few years. so i dont have a clue as to what ur problem is.

as for the highlighted, we've finished in the top four for five seasons (since i became a fan) , winning both of them. . .so what is ur arguement? if u wanna hate, pick on Arsenal who havent won shyt in 3 years now with all their fantastic football.
