I still cant comprehend as to why BDC and Malams sell or buy dollar at the rate which is below that of CBN. As at today, BDC buy dollar at 170 where as CBN pegged the rate at 198. pls somebody should educate me. |

All that is happening now is speculation. Most people that speculated after the initial devaluation have started offloading their USD. Last week, they were buying At 200 naira(2-3 naira above Cbn rate). But with more and more people selling USD causing much supply, they anticipate Cbn will revert back this week to 168 so safely buying now at 170 |
