Why Invest in Akwa-Ibom State.
Akwa Ibom is positioned as one of the fastest growing states in Nigeria with a growth rate in 2013 estimated at 8.82%, a per capita income of $2,779 and a GDP of US $13.704 billion. This makes it an economy larger than of 30 African Countries including Gambia, Mali, Chad, Burkina Faso, Togo, Liberia, and Sao Tome and Principe.
This is mainly because of the allocation of payments from federal oil exports more so even in a season where the world has experienced a huge drop in oil prices. In the last 10 years, Akwa Ibom has been receiving one of the highest yearly federal revenue allocations in Nigeria.
With a very welcoming population, this inflow of oil revenue coupled with increased developmental projects has attracted a rapid rise in population, with indigenes of the State returning home from abroad and people from nearby regions states migrating to Akwa Ibom State to seek economic opportunities. This trend has further contributed to increasing demand for housing, products and services.
The successive Governments have undertaken infrastructure development (federal and state roads, bridges, a new airport, a new stadium, new five star hotels, leisure resorts, housing estates, independent power plants, etc.) almost at the scale seen in Lagos in the 60’s/70’s or Abuja in the 80’s/90’s. All these investments by Government add up to positioning the state and its capital city for emergence as a business hub.
Uyo has 500,000 inhabitants while the Greater Uyo area has more than 1 million people. With the current annual growth rate of the population projected at 3.4% and the average population density of 680 people per square kilometer, the population density in Akwa Ibom is already very high and is set to increase further.
The land for sale is on the outskirts of the current city borders with a preponderance of average income earners. However, the distance of the plot to the Uyo city center and the newly built Akwa Ibom International Stadium is ranging from 5 to 8 km and from the Akwa Ibom International Airport the distance is between 25 and 30 km.
A plot of land in the highbrow areas of Uyo now cost anything between NGN 10m to 30m depending on location. Plots in average income areas go for NGN 1.5 – 5 million.
Given the estimated expansion of the city in the coming years, our plots will probably become part of the city within the next few years. Therefore, the price appreciation potential of properties within the area is substantial. We estimate that property prices on our plots will increase substantially over the next 5 years.
We strongly suggest you fast track your investment portfolio today. Call us and take a look at this property and begin building your real estate career. Remember, in Nigeria it is always safer to deal with professionals,
Seize the opportunity today and invest in Akwa-Ibom for much greater and longer-lasting returns.
Thank You.

There is really nothing that has a beginning that doesn’t have an ending. The much talked about Nigerian ‘Presidential’ election is finally over, and the result is out.

True, General Muhammadu Buhari has won the presidential election, but he is not a magician. He has inherited certain ‘Badlucks’ which are currently affecting the Nigerian economy. Some of these include: The high exchange rate, the high inflation rate, instability in the crude oil price, etc. The man cannot fix all these in one day. It will be one step at a time; but we all hope for a better tomorrow.

Finally, the election has come and gone, heaven has not fallen, neither has the entity called Nigeria divided. This is the more reason why you need to act without hesitation or doubt; do what you need to do, when you need to do it. Put a sense of urgency in whatever you do. God does not operate by the happenings in the world economy.

This is April, the fourth month of the year; the year is fast running out. Please let’s get down to work; make that major decision that will turn your life around. What other excuse do you have? The election is over!

If you are a good investment analyst, you’ll know that following successful conduct of the election, and also a hitch-free transition, everyone’s confidence will improve on the Nigerian economy, and hence, the country will be everyone’s investment haven. This will eventually lead to increase in the price of investment commodities. The summary of this is:

This is still the best time to invest. And remember, the only real investment is real estate.

By following the advice of experts, you can never go wrong.

Ring us today and let’s discuss about your real estate plan/ investment.

We are fully committed to your success!

Very truly yours,

Buying a property is a smart and rewarding choice but this task can seem so daunting and stressful sometimes. The following tips will help you simplify your property buying process so that you can get the most out of your purchase:
Don’t Forget The Inspection
Carry out an inspection on the property you want to buy using real estate professionals. The purpose of the home inspection is to find out if the property has any defects and also if it meets your requirements. If there are any defects, you can use it as a bargaining tool to ask for a lower price on the home. Carrying out an inspection will also enable you to decide if you want to buy the house or not. Some defects cost a lot of money to fix, so it is better to carry out an inspection before buying.

Survey The Neighbourhood
Before buying a property, survey the neighbourhood. This goes beyond asking questions around the neighbourhood ___ drive by the property occasionally to find out what is happening in the neighbourhood and find out how long it is going to take you to get to the office from that house. Also, find out if there are any good schools, medical and recreational facilities in the neighbourhood. When you find out all these things, you will be able to determine if the property is suitable for you.

Look to The Future
Purchasing a property is a great wealth building strategy but maintenance doesn’t come cheap and you have to plan for this. Remember to consider there might be unexpected costs for plumbing problems, roof repairs and other maintenance issues. Consider if you can maintain the home you want to buy or not without draining your bank account.

Consider The Closing Costs
It doesn’t end at paying for the home you want to buy; there are other payments you have to make at the end of your property purchase transaction; these payments are known as closing costs and they include title fees, taxes and other fees. If you are buying a property in a new housing development/estate, you may also be required to pay an infrastructure levy and service charge which might run into millions of naira depending on the location. Before concluding your decision to buy a property, find out how much you will likely pay in closing costs.

Avoid Big Purchases Before Buying
Buying a property gulps a lot of money and sometimes there are unforeseen payments that you might have to make during the buying process. It is advisable to avoid big purchases prior to your propert purchase so that you will not be short of funds when you have to make other unplanned and important payments

Getting cheap lands in Uyo has to do with acquiring lands from the owners. Buying lands from owners gives one the opportunity to buy at the exact worth.

Many Land agents actually increase the prices of lands of lands in Uyo, making it look too high.

Here, you are given a tip on buying Uyo Lands at relatively cheap prices. If you don't need to get too close to the owner, you can get to his / her relative. By this, you won't experience the price hikes by some agents.

It's not as if as agents are bad, but the truth is that some agents actually make things difficult for other people. You need to get agents that also own properties, thereby sell the properties as theirs. The good agents also sell on the right prices given by the owners, knowing that it is better to get commissions in a decent ways, thereby earn recommendations from their clients. We work with one of the best agents in Uyo. You don't need to think twice, they deliver adequately.

I'll be sharing a property that our perfect agent just shared in the next post, by the grace of GOD.
