Alot of people have high hopes that buhari will save alot of money for Nigeria when he starts to fight corruption. I know the first thing he should do is to cut the salary and allowances of senators, reps etc by 70% Unfortunately the power to do such resides with the corrupt senate. So it seems like for buhari to fight corruption, he will have to truncate democracy again. Else he will be a lion caged, he can only roar while politicians loot as usual. |
