Igbo and Yoruba!

One striking aspect I have noticed in this 72 hours
war of words is how convenient it has become for
people who live thousands of kilometers in far away
places like United Kingdom, USA, South Africa,
Germany, Italy and even Dubai, to draw lines on the
sand, threatening fire and brimstone, even planning
and declaring war in Lagos.
They have their family safely tucked away there while
they write war speeches for those of us in Lagos. So
funny.

Unfortunately, Tope that came to collect my bag from
me as soon as my car door opened did not read
those stuff. He was interested in knowing if I had a
restful night.

My girlfriend, Azeezat already made my favourite starch and Banga soup with river fish, pkomo and okporoko,..mind you she is from Katsina and she's the best cook and most beautiful girl I know.

And when Dotun called that his car broke down this
morning and he has a lot of running around to do in
the island, I handed my car keys to him, no questions
asked. If I was in his shoe he will do far more for
me...

Moreso, I need to see Yosuf Abdulrauf Mustapha, before weekend, its been a while. Such
an outstanding friend and brother. Dependable to a
fault. I call in Baba..been together from birth since our days in the barracks.

I almost forgot that tomorrow is the naming
ceremony of Kunle and Uchechi's son. We will all
assemble there to dine and wine. Dance to Sunny
Ade, Davido, Orezi, Zaki Aze, Flavour, MI and Osadebe. Eat Pounded Yam with Bitter leaf
soup because Kunle's mother in law is a real
Anambra woman.

These are relationships built over the years without
the consent of the Oba, APC or PDP. And I will not put them on the line for the sake of the Oba, Ambode or Jimi Agbaje.

This is my vow!

And no matter what you write,I have decided to move on to the next page....
