History of buhari political ship jumping:
1).2003 and 2007 presidential candidate under the platform of ANPP.
2).2011 left ANPP and joined CPC and became presidential candidate for 2011 under the platform of CPC
3).2015 left/merged CPC to form APC and became presidential candidate for 2015 election.

Buhari is not an example of a committed party member he has jumped ship three times in his 13 yrs political history. He is not a yard stick nor a model of loyalty to any political party.

I will not be surprised if he joins a different party or forms a new alliance for the 2019 presidential election once the nascent union of strange bedfellows called APC disintegrate over the looming unchecked party chieftain egos that is already haunting the flickering union.
you see what impatience has caused you, you can't even read and comprehend before you type, the point is that he did not join PDP to win at all cost, but wait patiently outside a big monster party like PDP to nurture a strong partly that can contest with PDP strength for strength, so now out of all the party you listed which one is super big and can match PDP strength for strength until APC was formed, none ok, learn how to comprehend before your finger types faster than your brain.

Typical of mindless Sai buhari chanting group, with sycophantic herd mentality incapable of independent thought nor logical/critical thinking. All i hear and see is name calling and insults which is a typical response that empty heads resort to when they are being confronted with the truth, that is contrary to their sycophantic talking points dictated by their oga's at the top.

The lies about buhari will only fly with his mindless followers, from may 30th all these propaganda will be put to test, and fowl yansh go open.

I challenge any of you to Controvert the fact that buhari is a political harlot that jumped ship 3 times in 13 yrs, if you can!

House of Assembly
elections in Imo State has all it takes to make
it an epic political battle for the soul of the
state. The contending political parties of note
are the largely dominant People’s Democratic
Party, PDP, and the ruling All Progressives
Congress, APC.
Apart from the PDP and APC, there are
other struggling political parties like All
Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Accord
and United Progressives Party, UPP, that are
angling to rule the state. Similarly, some
individuals and realities on ground may
ultimately account for the success or failure of
the parties in certain areas of the state.
It had been touted that Imo is a PDP state
since the current democratic engineering
started in 1999. This again played out in the
last Presidential and National Assembly
elections in the state. The PDP cornered all
the senatorial seats and equally captured
eight out of the 10 House of Representatives
seat, leaving a paltry two seats for the APC.

The only party he left then was ANPP, HE DIDNOT left CPC , He formed CPC and later merged with with ACN to form APC. He is not a boat jumper as you thought.

Where is ANPP today? Have they not become part of APC?.

Merger does it bro, not jumping.
And the way PDP members are jumping to APC ehn? They will soon jump over the lagoon

We are all familiar with the statement, “If you can’t beat them join them”. A statement that a coward must have come up with during one of those dark periods in human history.

Three times the president-elect, General Buhari, contested against the People’s Democratic Party, three times he failed and each time he contested again until he eventually won.

In 2003 under the banner of the defunct ANPC, he contested against Obasanjo representing the PDP and lost; in 2007 still under the banner of the defunct ANPC, he contested against the late Shehu Musa Yar’adua representing the PDP and lost.

In 2011, he ran the contest as the presidential candidate representing the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and lost again. This time around, to president Goodluck Jonathan whom he eventually defeated in the 2015 presidential contest as the candidate for the APC.

When the president-elect lost the election against Obasanjo in 2003, he challenged the result of the election in Court throughout the duration of Obasanjo’s presidency or as lawyers would put it, until “the matter was overtaken by events”.

Say whatever you like about the man from Daura, he has qualities that only a handful of Nigerian politicians have: patience, endurance, honour and discipline.

Buhari was the only constant opposition candidate in Nigeria for twelve years and some senior PDP politicians are decamping to APC fewer than two weeks after losing the presidential elections.

In his effort to shore up support for APC gubernatorial aspirants, the president-elect may be welcoming PDP defectors but here’s a message to them:

How can you ever gain the respect of a man who was the face of opposition for more than twelve years when you can’t stand by your party two week after you lost an election?

Fleeing PDP politicians have shown Nigerians by their actions that PDP is a party with no ideology full of greedy politicians with no scruples of principles.
ANPP not ANPC bro

What are you saying? Buhari was determined to triumph over the ruling party, PDP and he kept his vision by never joining their party until he defeated them. If you must know, it's safe to say Buhari was only in one party which was the ANPP. He left ANPP to form/create his own party which was the CPC......I guess he realized his determination to triumph over PDP was probably bigger than the guys at ANPP understood, which was probably why he started his own party, CPC. On the other hand, Tinubu had a similar vision of triumphing over the incumbent PDP...Tinubu started from AD and later AD evolved into AC and later evolved into ACN. After all these, Tinubu and Buhari decided to make their personal interests secondary to try a merger of both CPC, ACN and a part of APGA to see if they could defeat PDP and it worked.

Whether you leave your party to the opposition party or the ruling party, it is the same thing - you have decamped. Buhari decamped. If he believed so much in the ideologies of the parties he left, he should have stayed to consolidate after losing. Instead he moved in search of just a platform to contest. I'm sure if the ruling party had offered him a platform he would have accepted just to fulfill his dream of being a president. He is not a true democrat and cannot be seen as a role model when it comes to party loyalty.
Anywhere, my concern really is when he makes 1 naira equivalent to 1 dollar, and 5k monthly allowance to unemployed youths.
You should study your history. He didn't decamp. He was betrayed by his party when they joined Yar'adua's government of national unity while he still had a case in court challenging the elections. He he had to form his own party with his loyalists to contest the 2011 elections.

Sorry to say this but you really are a poor student of history. Buhari never would have left the ANPP had they not deserted him in tge court of law despite him having genuine claims to irregularities in the 2007 elections(Intenational observers and even the winner of the election Umaru Musa Yar'Adua[God bless his soul ] adduced to this but the ANPP chosed to leave him in the lurch due to some appointments in a so called government of national unity. Would you continue associating with such unloyal felliws? When he left ANPP, The defunct ACN would easily have accepted him. Just imagine how different the 2011 results might have been had he decided to team up with ACN but rather than do this, he started a political party. If this is not uprightness and a belief in what he stands for, please what is it?
