Letter To Lagosians Before Casting That Vote Today! by barnaby04(m): 12:42pm On Apr 11, 2015
My dear Lagosians,

Today is yet another day in our various lives that we all have to make that very important decision on who preside over our affairs come May 29, 2015, the candidates of the two leading political parties, Akinwunmi Ambode of the ruling All Progressive Congress and Jimi Agbaje of the Peoples Democratic Party.

As a state that has enjoyed unprecedented developments since the return to civil rule in 1999, no doubt Lagos State is a pride and reference point among all other states in Nigeria.

Lagos State wouldn't have attain the height it is today if not for the uncommon visionary wizardry of Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who laid foundation for all what our ever inspirational Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola has done to tell the world that, Lagos can indeed work.

No sane coach in the world will ever toil with the idea of changing his winning formula or team just as we Lagosians cannot afford to give room for people of no governance experience to takeover Lagos State and start implementing trial and error formulas.

A popular Yoruba adage says"Whoever wants to clothe one, you judge him by the very clothe he/she is putting on". If PDP claims to have all the therapies in this world to turn Lagos State into the real mega city it deserves, kindly ask this simple question, why has the PDP found it so hard to address the pressing issues bedeviling Nigeria over the past 16 years of its rule at the centre? Why has it found it so difficult to provide power with so much billions of dollars spent? Why has youth unemployment refused to abate even with all the job creation schemes billions of naira have been voted to? Why is a country so rich in oil has one of the worst developmental infrastructures when placed side by side with other world oil producers?

My fellow Lagosians, we stand on the threshold of history today and we must not afford to get it wrong. PDP has had all the opportunities in this world to turn Nigeria into a modern new world but failed woefully due to its cluelesness and total lack of innovative ideas on how to rule.

Having fallen in Abuja, Lagos cannot afford to be the next destination of the PDP. We must all rise up today to give the party a RED card in today's election.

Ambo is the man, Ambo has the experience, Ambo understands the peculiarities of Lagos state better than Jimi Agbaje who is being sponsored by spent godfathers to advance their selfish cause.

If you are yet still at home, I encourage you to pick up your PVC and go out to your polling unit to make sure your vote counts in this election.

As I have always said, together we shall overcome the evil called PDP in our land and we must not allow Lagos to fall today to a party bereft of innovative ideas of governance.

My fellow Lagosians, the saying "Eko Oni Baje" starts today when you vote the right candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressive Congress as the next Governor of Lagos State to take the state known as the 'Center of Excellence to the next level.

God Bless Lagos State.
And may God continue to bless Nigeria.

Yours truly,
MAOB
