According to a report by Vanguard, Nigerian singer Burna Boy who was declared wanted by the Lagos State commisioner of police a few weeks back will honour the police invitation when he returns to the country this month.



Burna Boy who has been in the country travelled to Botswana for a concert 3-days ago and a source who spoke to Vanguard said, “Burna Boy is not in the country at the moment, but he’ll definitely be back in December because he has a show in Botswana on the 2nd of December, so he should be around after that date to honour the invitation.”

The woman who accused rapper, Nelly of rape, has refused to testify against him in court and has asked for the case to be dropped.

Her lawyer, Karen Khoeler says that her client asked for the case to be dropped because she feels the system has failed her and that she thinks because Nelly is a celebrity, nothing will work in her favour.

In a letter dated Friday, the woman’s attorney said she regretted calling 911 and reporting that the rapper had raped her on his tour bus after a concert in Auburn, Washington, on Oct. 7.

Earlier today, news broke that Davido’s driver and two of his friends transported Tagbo to the General Hospital where he was abandoned.

While speaking to journalists during a press briefing, Commissioner of Police, CP Imohimi Edgar revealed that Davido’s driver, Tunde Yusuf and two of his friends were the ones who transported Tagbo to the General Hospital.

He also revealed that during his first meeting with Tagbo’s family, Caroline Danjuma and Davido, Davido said that he heard of Tagbo’s death at the club through a mutual friend. Meanwhile, Davido’s driver in his statement said that they took Tagbo to the hospital based on instructions from Davido.

Four suspected internet fraudsters will soon be arraigned in court by the Benin Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The suspects, Shiko Romeo, Bobby Edigiu, Henry Nisike and Emmanuel Ayo were arrested recently by officers of the Nigeria Police on suspicion of being involved in internet fraud. ‎

Upon handing the suspects over to the EFCC, operatives of the Commission commenced investigations including analysis of documents retrieved from the laptop computer recovered from them. The suspects have confessed to their involvement in internet fraud using fake identification on Facebook in their attempt to defraud unsuspecting victims especially European and American women.
