I've been obsessed with NL since the winter of 2009.

You begin to understand that there are weird people with weird stories in weird relationships in weird places.

You are either afraid or excited about marriage.

You learn your freedom of expression is limited by a moderator's ban or antispam bot ban.

You learn a (f) moniker is probably a male guy pretending to be female.


You discover some attention-seeking stunts by some group of persons also known as Trolls.

you get to meet crazily funny people like joecutie,kingTom,kingsasian & fabdedon...they can make you loose your manners in public, coughing out hysterical laughter over a sentence of less than 10words


you meet with people with real face and real life issues and can easily join in their ride through life by hooking up to their diary and sticking to them like the post stamp though you may be distance apart

I've bought some stuffs from some nairalanders.I buy my data from data resellers here on naira land.Naira land has become my NTA,I get first hand information from here naira land.Learnt a lot as well.Funny peeps here that will make your day from their funny comments and write-ups. I got a wonderful advice from a nairalander that really helped my hubby when we was going to school. Justwise is his name.He told me IELTS for a PhD student can be waivered. I told hubby but he didn't believe.He kept writing the exam to get a higher point for the listening skill.After much frustration and time was really against him and resumption was being delayed,he decided to mail the school.Low and behold, he was told to forfeit the exam and resume.They are great and intelligent minds here.

You learn how to handle the opposite sex (if you are in a serious relationship).Thus how to act around,how to play mature(to avoid being taken for granted) and most importantly when to let go, when all indications suggests that ain't working out.
