Asante Kotoko‘s exit from the CAF Champions League over the weekend was as a result of porn according to Kofi Manu, a top football official in Ghana.

The Ghana Premier League Champions were eliminated from the CAF Champions League on Sunday, April 5 after losing 1-2 to Algerian club MC Eulma at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Asante Kotoko had a big chance of qualifying after playing a goalless draw away in Algeria but lost at home to exit the competition.

The club players felt the wrath of fans after the defeat was carried out of the stadium in armoured cars.

Status Committee member and former Chairman of Aduana Stars Kofi Manu popularly known as Blue Boy revealed that Asente Kotoko players were up the previous night watching porn which was why they lost the CAF Champions League game.

“They don’t sleep and I’ll continue to say this … they don’t sleep, they don’t have enough sleep” Blue Boy told Kumasi-based Sikka FM.

“The fact that the players lie on their beds did not mean they slept. The players spend their nights making phone calls, surfing the internet and watching porn.”
