One area all Lagosians/Nigerians will agree with is security. i believe it is time this is implemented asap once the swearing in is complete! We cannot continue with "Oga anything for us" this CHANGE must be total! |

ladi02:you are in for a greater suprise. PDP didnt deny us state police, the north did. You will get the shock of your life when the next NAS Members will start work. Because for every northerner, their first interest is to protect “the northern agenda“. Even if GMB agrees with Tinubu on state police, the law makers will not allow the bill to pass second reading. Remember that we all believe that GMB is not corrupt so am sure he wont go to national assembly with ghana must go bags the way OBJ did to woo them on his side. The change you people asked for is here. The only challenge now is that we dont know which side it will go. But do not put your life on something like; state police, devolusion of power from the centre & P.I.B into law. With the federal Police, there are still lots of issues. Officers and men are crying of poor remuneration, dilapidated barracks, obsolete equipments, poor insurance packages and incessant transfers. On the other hand, some states cannot even say 18k as minimum wage. When I look at some security outfits established by some state Governors, I just can't help, but, laugh at the idea of state Police. Another white elephant . . . . |
